Anybody feel it's high time for another one of these? I remember participating in one last year (with a tribal house mix), and it was a fantastic idea.. unfortunately I think that the competitions came in such rapid-fire one after the other, so a lot of people didn't bother to make/submit a mix.
Well, I think it's high time this concept be revived for the near year... anybody else agree?
I will be doing another contest a little more organized this time. Probably in a month or 2. More money, more action , more extreme. maybe like head to head fighting were people vote. That would be fun.
Well i've just stepped in and made it mine son. Seriously, you can do your little stupid contest or have a real contest with money prizes and sexy surprises. The letter J is not really that useful for a letter. Honestly. I could go a whole day without using that letter.
because I'm lost. I thought this was the production thread. The only contest I would bankroll for djing is a video contest of whoever can mix 4 tracks on vinyl while sniffing 1 gram of coke and the only surface you can use is a vinyl on the platter under 5 minutes.

I'm pretty sre that's how Paul Oakenfold got famous.
similar but not quite. I believe that contest involved reach arounds as well as the coke. Quite a feat. I mean giving a guy a hand job, mixing, and snorting. That is talent.
