Now that weve hit July, hows your 2011 been so far? How do you feel about the first half of the year and what youve been up to, accomplished and achieved?

2011 has been AMAZING! We released our debut artist album Piercing The Quiet, have had a #1 single, album went Top 10 on the iTunes Dance Chart, and the gigs have been unbelievable. Best year yet!

Howve you found the reaction to that record from fans since the release?

Well, it went iTunes Top 10 in just about every country its been truly explosive for us and has shown our fans a more complete view of our sound. Weve had amazing reviews on the album, and people have really taken it to heart.

After so many big single releases what was the mission statement of sorts for the full artist album? Did you guys have a certain idea/theme/mood in mind when making it?

No, not exactly. We felt it was time to put something down that we could look back in 10 years, and be proud of. We worked extremely hard on the album, 18 months in fact and are quite happy with the result. There are areas of sound that we hadnt explored bf the album, and it really showcases our abilities as producers. The mood was one of a journey, exploring all things melodic & musical with a bit of an edge to it.

You released the record through your label and the Enhanced label which has had many of your peers among its catalogue over the years. What does that kind of backing and being in that company mean to you?

Well, we love working with Enhanced. We feel Will Holland does an amazing job, and wanted to team up with someone as driven and focused as we are. He has a great instinct for big records, and together were really building something unique and special.

Youve been launching the record out on the road and in clubs and youre coming out to Australia with it in July, whats exciting about coming back here?

We love Australia! It was such a fun tour last time with John 00 Fleming, and we loved every stop along the way. This will be our third tour in Australia and its always a fun crowd. To be honest, Australia is a lot like Texas in many ways; friendly, warm people, very outgoing outdoorsy types who welcome you with open arms. We love it!

You were here in winter last year too, what did you take from doing those shows then and experiencing Australian clubs?

We had a blast, and were really able to connect with our fans. We feel that we really brought our A game last year, and hope to see many of those same people come out to support this years gigs too. We have so many new tracks to showcase to our Aussie fans, so were really excited to be back!
