Unique, eclectic, and overall a smattering of interesting music to tickle the brain and excite the senses. This mix went through lots of different moods and vibes. Flow was nice and weird, tracks were great (personal favorite was definitely Cold Cave - Confetti what a great track), and the only mixing gripe I have is the transition into and out of Dominik Von Senger - No Name 2009. I made dinner while listening to this mix. Nothing special, just some pasta. Nice work, Avana.

Thanks for listening and for your review! The cold cave track is definitely great... in some ways a lot of the mix was programmed to build up to it.
I hear you on the no-name transition, though only on the 'into' (the 'out of' transition was ok to my ears?) That record is a bitch at the beginning, it was my first time playing it. It's got weird and confusing swing on the percussion (particularly the tambourine), and the dirtbombs cover is also rough in its timing.

Much of their stuff is a bit out there for me but I'm a fan of their older drone sound. Check out the Dusk LP, their release with Robedoor (I think it's called Warmest Knives), and Emerald Snake on Ruby Velvet.
Pity they already broke up :/
Oh, and as far as the mix, some neat tunes, but plenty of tracks I wasn't all that into. And I still can't get into the old timey jukebox mixing, but that's just personal preferences. I actually found the mix from Forest Swords into Pocahaunted to be jarring although I commend the effort behind it
