Hey Levente, thanks for that remix a few years ago ("Eleni").

There's a lot of supersaws, I guess that's still what trance is. But more than that, this show-peaces a pretty mediocre instrument. Why did you choose Z3ta? Is it something you're a fan of for your own productions?

Z3ta is medicore? How? I've always thought it's one of the more powerful synths compared to the rest

Powerful, sure, but it sounds like crap. It's a decade old and was created close to when soft synths where brand new.

I haven't delved into any soft synth enough to be able to say, but have been impressed by demos of Arturia's MiniMoog, have really enjoyed what I've heard out of U-he ACE and Diva, and feel there is a lot of potential in Waldorf's Largo.

I think most of them sound excellent. However, if your intention was to imitate the synths used in those tracks, they are not all perfect matches to me. You sure did a good job reproducing the melodies and arrangements though. Overall, I would enjoy using them!

download a demo of reason and play with the thor, its much better than most of the softsynths out there. In my opinion its much better than the zeta2.

Actually this demo isn't strong enough, cause the soundset isn't about only supersaws. I'm doing another demo which shows more!
I think z3ta is a pretty cool synth with a lot of potential, i always loved it. Maybe Sylenth1 sounds a bit better, but in my opinion every instrument has its own sounding, and sometimes good to add something else to the production, not always the fuckin sylenth sound

I find it amusing that people are so opinionated about which soft synths they use, like it's a DAW war or something. Considering the amount of processing and production that goes into a patch these days, complaining or arguing about which softsynth you use is very amateurish and stupid. Once you begin processing a sound, sometimes it hardly matters which soft synth you are using. And Alan you've been out of the game for a while so, take it easy...
