A problem I'm having with a sofware 'analogue' synth doing 'non real world' things.

Ok, so I've been after trying to make big pounding rising sounds with D-CAM Synth Squads Cypher synth. In particular I want tuning beat effects together with lfo iterations that result in the timing beat of the oscialltion to alter as I automate certain knobs, afterall this is more intense and unexpected compared with a simple rising whoosh.

This synth very deep indeed. Dave actualy said this a while back. I am also finding it giving unpredictable results with 'no way back'.

Lets say I twiddle a knob which might be one of the sync knobs - it has an effect on sound of course, but then sometimes when I twiddle it back to starting position, that sound if forever changed - I can never get back to the sound as it was prior to twiddle. Even if the prior incarnation was saved, that sound can never be recovered to how it was.

It's as if your altering the machines very heart beat, never to be able to get back to the pulse rate you had prior to the knob twiddle.

Anyone else come accross this?
