Is there a Hi / Low pass filter that is designed specifically for trance music? Instead of automating EQ on the bass synth and drums I thought maybe there was an easier way of doing it. You know that muffled bass and drums sound that gradually morphs into a high quality full fidelity sound?
just add resonanse and automate the filter freq and you might get what u want. try band pass 12db/oct, maybe thats what youre looking for. examples will always help us help you.
low pass filter. What bothers me is that you have the mention of filters, and eqs and a 10 minute google search would of given you the answer and then some. It is just fucked how lazy producers are these days.
when you see a term, google it. Quit wasting time on questions that are beyond basic. I don't believe anyone is that fucking dimwitted that given a small time investment could not figure this out on their own.

I can tell you that you're wasting your time typing. Quit being a disgruntled troll.
Also you act like you're an expert. You're wrong. musicfxlive.com has band pass and other filter effect that are geared for electronic music.

No and EQ's aren't really filters, either. In fact there's no real way to go about doing what you're talking about doing and I find it unlikely that there will be in the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, technology just hasn't allowed for anything like filter... er... what's the word I'm looking for? Filter brooms? no. Filter socks? Definitely not it. Filter Mops? ...
Mop Filters!! That's it! There is no such thing as a mop filter that would allow you to say - if I may be so bold as to use a crude metaphor - sweep the bandwidth according to a desired frequency range over a period of time. It just can't be done because it's never done and it's certainly not worth doing.

they aren't. They existed a long time before EDM came along. Filters are used more often in areas that have nothing to do with audio what so ever. So saying filter is made for a genre let alone EDM is fucking stupid. This is similar to saying the note A is geared towards EDM. Does it appear ? yes. Correlation doesn't mean causation. And i am an expert if you are including yourself as a node on the spectum. So quit being such a fucking asshole.
