Las Vegas - Art of the Wild - Las Vegas - 3/22 - 3/24/2019

So when did Vegas start bringing "underground" acts like this?

http://www.wynnsocial.com/artofthewild

This is a pretty stellar lineup but not good enough for me to spend the money nor deal with the crowds. I have a few friends who live in Vegas and have attended similar techno/house acts. He says he went once and would never go again. Because even though it's quality music, it's all still the table/bottle service crowd who couldn't care less if it was Carl Cox or Steve Aoki.

However, if I had a complimentary table then I'd probably consider it

The acts I would see are:

Friday:
Marco Carola (night)
Loco Dice (night)

Saturday:
Paco Osuna (day time)
toss up between Luciano (night) and Damian Lazarus (night)

I'd probably skip Sunday. Carl is a legend but unless is dark grungy club like 1015, I'm just not interested.

My friend went last year and highly recommended it. He said the crowd is definitely different(more of the hipster burner crowd), and they have (not sure if at this price anymore) $150 passes that pretty much covered the entire weekend on sale a few months ago.

That's a good sign that the crowds a little better. I saw the tickets and they still appeared to be inexpensive.

Looks like they are doing this twice a year. Right before the pool season starts and right after it ends.

There would be tough decisions to make. Its usually hard to do day and night parties....3 days in a row.....

Would love to go but its the week before WMC :\

A friend of mine is out there this weekend and says its packed, and the crowd is legit, no douchey bros.

Surprising for Vegas and Tech House/Techno. Who knows maybe Vegas is moving away from big room fart noise music ? or the kids are growing up and moving away from that type of music

I had a few friends that attended. I was trying to text them to find out how it was but the only responses I got back were "fucking sick" and "hell yeah". So apparently everyone to fucked up to reply back.

Looks like it goes down twice a month. Before and after pool season. They announced October again.
