*i got to visit more zoos. in my lifetime, i have visited 3, and the best one out of my experiences is Audubon Zoo.

We're anywhere from 9" to over 12" behind for the year, depending on which part of TN you're in. My yard looks like hell. All 2.5 acres of it. Meh, saves on mower gas, I suppose. But Christ is it baked.

yeah we just recently went through a stretch of 2 straight weeks of rain. it looks like the rain has stopped, and we are going to start getting the heat for the next couple of weeks until september rolls around.

btw, random talking. i was cutting fruits last night, and i accidentally cut my finger when the knife went furthur through the fruit than anticipated. . it doesn't hurt/sting now, but just wanted to share it with you guys and gals.

And speaking of fruit, the bulk of the fruit I've had this year has been hell. Dunno if it was California losing all of theirs in the spring, or the late freeze here in the deep south, but damn. I miss the GOOD f00kin strawberries. You know the ones I mean...so good you wanna slap yo momma!

we're about 12" above what we were last year....and around 6" above the normal for this time of year. your yard was parched, mine was growing insane. but it was consistantly raining, so i could never mow it until it was like 18" long. suck.

with the recent stationary/cold frontal passage, it's finally decent outside....not too muggy at all...and nearly cloudless skies!
