Thanks Chris!
Icould blame it on ear fatigue and say I spent too long without out taking a break during the mix down
ha but the muddiness is actually something I overlooked.
Lol I half expected not to get anyfeedback. Awesome. Ill definately take it to hear and do some reworking. I have three other projects but the only feedback I ever get is programmed responses. Thanks again!

Yu got that London sound pinned mate. This is a fun track and if you can get her sounding pro and big this should be picked up easy.

Here's my entry. Lets me know what you guys think.
Thanks for listening

Like the central Rhodes keys theme particularly the first halve. Gets a bit off the rails in places, would be better if you kept it more simple around that core theme I think.
Seems like you have a good imagination for ideas.

Evolve I like your track, it's catchy and uplifting yet subtle.
An idea for ya - at he end of the break I imagine quite a big stabby bass joining the action. Think this could make it pretty euphoric. Also open the release a little in places just to give a sense of journey - in the most uplifting parts.

I made this with storyteller in mind, any feedback welcome as I always get the mix wrong.

I can't really make out what the vocal is saying. I would love to see the bit with kick at @ 1:30 extended a bit building a bit more tension up to the break opening the filters a bit more on the stab. The latter half is a neat change of pace. I like. Mixwise I don't hear that much room for improvement, kick pierces through the mix just the way I like it. Really cool vibe overall.

The mix is quite rough indeed. I found the vocals far too load, but I'm guessing you are aware of that. I'd love the synth to be a bit more upfront than it is now too. I like the overall concept but I'm missing a hookline in either the synth or the vocals, something I'll repeat over and over...
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

yep ta mate
do agree on the mix had the same thoughts myself. vox is far too loud and synths are not well balanced either Needs some hardcore mixing and referencing overall !!
I think the chorus part is the most hooky part, and im happy enough with it in that way, personally, but there are lots of things i want to improve - mostly the mix as you mentioned!
Thanks for posting, Storyteller and Rich
edit - Matthijs, i remember you being really positive about an earlier version of this. perhaps its the poor mix down thats putting you off, or maybe not keen on the vocals?

Vocals mostly in my case. They just don't do it for me this time unfortunately.
