this is hands down some of the worst *mixing* I've heard on tranceaddict.
from track to track there's almost no continuity. the first mix into push was offensive to say the least, i prayed that the next mix would be good... but my prayers were answered with another drop mix of a song that was never meant to go with together with any remix of universal nation. the rest is a plethora of individually grand tracks, but continuously mixed as one, a harmonic clash of the titans. even oakenfold can mix in key... didn't anyone else notice this?
THE VERDICT: make a playlist in winamp, use a 5 second crossfade, and i present to you, dj talla's kinki's palace mix. |
I couldn't care less about mixing "in key". It's about what tracks get the crowd going nuts and if I were at this event, I would be going nuts. IMO this is a great set. Yes he plays a couple trcacks for too long but otherwise, I haven't heard a selection like this from hardly anyone else. And no not any trance head can pick good tracks.
What set would you recommend though, Mr. Connoisseur?
