Ya, I think she was. One that YOU were referring to before...

esp. in the context of this thread when 2 people already said they haven't heard anything good from RV, then someone posts a 2002 set - how's that even helpful? like RJ said - even Tiesto was good in 2002...

It sounds to me like she's saying that not every DJ was only good in 2002 and went downhill afterward. Some DJs played well in 2002 and continues to play well (even if their sound is different). There was no reason to snap at her when it was the first post she made in the "debate".

lol, villalobos is not the best technical dj on earth, but he is one of the few dj who can usually bring the party to a next level! sadly not in Toronto this time but I saw him a few times, it was completely insane!

Lisa, are you thoroughly enjoying nitpicking my replies for the past little while?

where exactly did I "snap"? I was confused as to why she mentioned that not every Dj went downhill like Tiesto - I never ventured into the debate of who went downhill or who didn't, I just left it as is. If I wanted to snap, I'd snap and roll my eyes at lack of use of the edit button.

also - my point about roll calls and outdated sets, obviously that was an IMHO post.. no idea why that suddenly warranted the sarcastic replies.. I think that, well sue me! I'm not saying rolls calls SHOULDN'T have older sets, it's up to the OP - but it amuses me when they do. In fact Alex and I recently had a discussion about it when I mentioned that roll call for John O'Bir had sets from like 2003 or so, and I thought that those sets do not adequately represent Dj's sound of today..

lol @ thinking I'm nitpicking at you. You posted and I chose to comment.

I don't know how you were confused about the Tiesto thing when she quoted your own Tiesto comment! So it sure seems like your response was lashing out at her when asking what point she was addressing. Sorry I didn't know that when you snap at someone you use a . You didn't put a at the end though, so I didn't know that you weren't being rude.

And I was not talking about any debate about who went downhill or not, it was all in reference to the old sets in roll calls. Since "not every DJ went downhill like Tiesto" their older sets may be as good as their new material. No one told you you weren't entitled to your opinion about the hype material in roll calls. And sorry about the sarcastic comments??? I didn't know I couldn't make them.

Anyway, I made my point. The only reason why I said anything was b/c I didn't want Jill to go into hiding b/c she felt attacked b/c I think she contributes to the board.

This is a stupid conversation so I'm out.

I asked her a question, not snapped at her.

you can say whatever you want but the manner in which you deliver your replies speaks volumes - and you know that
