I love Armin but if anyone doubts that the original Burning Man has long been dead, this would be it...

Well, remember that Syd Gris is a trance DJ at heart. Not many people know that since he pretty much only plays trance sets as an opener with Spundae (and 1015 for Ronski soon) and on some local trance nights.
For his Opel shows and all, it's pretty much alweays breaks (or house?)? Just how the parties are setup...the market he's going after.
Anyhow, Syd Gri said in an article in DJ Mag last year that if Armin wanted to come, he'd say yes.
Don't forget, the DJs pay their own way to Burning Man. Hell, they have to pay to get onto the Burning Man grounds. If the #1 DJ in the world wants to pay his way to play at your event, what are ya gonna say??
Here's an article DJMag did on Opulent Temple last October...it's a pretty good read. And Syd says his intentions right in there, which I am totally for (trying to bring that world of EDM with the mainstream world of EDM together...or something like that, too lazy to re-read it right now to be sure)
Sasha and Digweed's opening tour DJ KAZELL will be in San Francisco this Wednesday (July 22nd) for Satellite Wednesdays.
