Do these artists just steal the music of other previously-made productions for their own productions, or do they just purposely transform the previously-made song into a different style with the permission from the person who made that previously-made song? |
Umm... I've never heard Out Of The Blue compared to Gouryella, and I can't hear any similarity myself apart from their rolling, anthemic qualities, but in that case Corsten's involved in both so there's no issue of stealing...
I don't notice anything for Dido (I presume you mean the AvB remix) and Rococco either, but I'll say that, generally speaking, in the vast majority of cases nobody's "stealing". Sampling older tracks (with permission) occurs fairly often and is of course fine given that there was permission, but even then, it's more likely that the tracks simply sound similar. There are only so many melodies one can dream up.
Anyway, a better match for Rococco is Jorio pres. Cyber Diva - Remember Me (Space Brothers Remix), but that's only natural since Ricky Simmonds is involved in both the Kansai and Space Brothers projects.
