I'm like a schoolgirl, just been excited watching the new Airbus A380 do a fly-over as the engines are built about 10 miles from me it looked so proud up there, like it belongs. I took a video but it's not brilliant

i just watched the airbus a380 fly over. like a geek i recorded it. oh yeah.

Time to get ready for a slow week in c0r....

was it monstrous?

I saw a B2 Bomber fly overhead once and it was quite impressive. I can't imagine what the Airbus was like.

actually not at all. It was very smooth sounding. I was in a rush to sort my camera cos it came out of nowhere, but I have a little bit of video footage (although it's not great since i was looking right up at the sun trying to record ) which I'm uploading to sendspace atm for a friend who wants to see it, so i'll put the link in when im done (its 53mb) It was a very good mover though. It flew over east midlands airport & derby as rolls royce make the engines for it there & was then going down south, but they all turn over a reservoir which is a couple of miles from me, so I see plenty of planes each day (or hear on a dull day)

damn too bad sendspace is websensed here at work. guess ill have to watch it at home.
