thanks man

maybe its the 80's retro like b-line that reminds you of their tunes hehe

im using live 6.0 with vsti's z3ta+ & n.i massive

mastered it with psp's vintage warmer - f*ck me this has to be the best plugin ever. highly recommended!

what are you using?

I just use FL 5, i should get 7 and probably some better synths, im considering it now i have a decent comp. That track i put up was made entirely with Sytrus

sytrus isnt a bad synth at all! you can get some good sounds out of it if you tweek it hard enough

Hey Jace, the track sounds quite good.. the bassline really cut through the mix.. sounded nice and rounded. The bitcrushing effects as usual sounded good and I quite liked the melody.

Can't be bothered mixing full sets any more, must be a licence to MASH STUFF UP!
(Meaning I don't do this seriously! )
I grabbed an old Icon of Coil song and a slightly more modern Vibrosphere track and molested them with my mixer while I'm sitting at home sick. No mastering, don't have anything to do it with but it sounds alright. Sort of has a bit of a 'wall of synths' sound to it... I guess it's trance crossed with a bit of EBM/Darkwave.

Icon of Coil - Access and Amplify (Thermal Twist remix)
15meg, 9:35min runtime, 220kb mp3
(This is the slightly 'happy dance bunnies 135bpm' one rather than the nastier 144bpm one I was fiddling with)

little sample of the new RoundTrip (me and smasha petroleumovic) ch00n :]
the synth used in the final melody needs some work (and perhaps brought down an octave) but yeah we rekon its getting there....
