i'm a little dissapointed. they've been cutting parts of the songs away to make it fit on a 80 minute cd....

well tiesto has said himself he is a crowd pleaser. he feeds off the crowd. though w/ knowing how different peoples taste are in different areas i find it hard to believe that everyone has wanted the same set even though he is seeming to think so. my only complaint about magik 7 is that they did not pick up very much of the crowd reaction. the crowd was going nuts they loved it and you can barely hear. of course i dont think the set should be overridden by the crowd but it just thats just a lil something i enjoy about live sets is hearing the crowd react. tiesto does need to expand onto some new songs being a great dj is more than having flawless mixes. and any dj should have flawless mixes after mixing the same set 20 times(actually i dont know much about mixin but it seems that way to me) tiesto is still my fav. and i agree w/ whoever said they like magik 7 better than revolution.

What's all this crap about Tiesto?! How many live sets are available from him as compared with PvD? Chances are high that you hear a couple of old songs when you download 4 or 5 sets from him in one month! And 1: as also mentioned before: Revolution is for the UK market while Magik is for Holland. 2: If you think Tiesto is bad, don't download his stuff! 3: It takes months to record and release a CD, so yes, there'll be some 'old' songs on the CD! etc etc etc nuff said.

Listen to ferry corsten's TRANCE NATION 4 for example.

I don't know what you mean by commercial, but I was under the impression that Tiesto has always been immensely popular and successful in the Netherlands, and that he used to play pretty cheesy, uplifting, crowd-pleasing trance. Only recently (maybe around the release of magik 6?) has his sound become edgier and more progressive and less fluffy...

Oh man fucking tell me about it!! I think djs should make sure that there's plenty of time to play what they should of the track! Another reason why I wasn't particularly impressed with Revolution, was how Push - Strange World was cut off at the end!! There's barely 30 seconds of it after it's picked up!! Completely pissed me off!
