What a cool thread - thanks for providing it!

I have a question which I'm hoping you guys can help me with. Could someone provide contact details (name/address/email) of the main music distributors who carry trance in Holland? This will be very useful information for me and will be very gratefully received. Thank you!

No - but I will do. However, I was also hoping that someone with local knowledge could let me know who the main distributors are in Holland who carry trance music.

I was in Eindhoven for a couple of days, (was at PSV-Panathinaikos CL game) and no offence to people from there, but the town is not great, very little to do and not much excitement. I did see a coffeeshop and the occasional sex-shop.

Also I have a quick question about Den Bosch, I am having difficulty in finding it on the map, it it called HertogenBosch ? or where can you advise me is the nearest airport, very little appears to be coming up on any maps. http://www.uk.map24.com/ is the website.

I am travelling from Dublin to Dancevalley, but do not wish to make connecting flights, Rotterdam/Amsterdam/Charloi will do me.

s hertogenbosch and den bosch are the same city.

quote:
The capital of the province of Brabant and the town we live in. 's-Hertogenbosch is the name we always write, simply because that is the official name of town. But like most Dutch, we usually speak of Den Bosch because that is so much shorter. The meaning of the official name is "Duke's Wood", which also explains that odd looking 's in front, it is there to indicate the genitive, only we put it in front. The abbreviation Den Bosch just means The Wood, in a very old fashioned Dutch spelling.

It is about 20-25 minutes by train from eindhoven. nearly 1 hour by train from amsterdam, little more over an hour by train from rotterdam

mmm well okay it is not as exiting as amsterdam, rotterdam. But is definately more exiting then den bosch (well if you dont count dance valley winter) Eindhoven has some nice pubs (stratumseind is a street full with pubs and bars), girls are fine, enough shops.

Thank you for the reply, we are thinking of staying overnight in Amsterdam on the Friday and travelling to Den Bosch on the Saturday. The Main Square was quite vibrant, but as the Police did not want trouble between soccer fans, they made us go and stay in the Irish pub so I did not get to see all of what you reccomended.

Thank you again, much appreciated, now to sort out tickets and a hostel for the Den Bosch leg of the trip.

Probably cheaper to fly to Rotterdam.

Rotterdam is closer to Den Bosch and you can check in one hour before your flight, this is two hours at Schiphol. Maybe its a option to stay in R'dam. There are some good clubs there, don't know what kind of things are planned in R'dam for that date yet.

by train amsterdam is faster then rotterdam when you go to den bosch. from rotterdam you have to switch trains, from amsterdam you can stay in the train.

Maybe you can go by train?

And give you some info? I could type 20 pages with information and you still don't have what you want. So ask questions if you need some information.

Oye!!
