Why? I see some people equalled challenging the Moon landing to denying Holocaust. But whats a better analogy is having this forum being equated to living in Venezuela or Saudi Arabia, where only certain views and opinions are accepted, and the rest are harassed, ridiculed or shut up.
Is PDD a Chavez-like forum, or is it a productive and democratic forum? I'm telling you, most TA's have already become "refugees" and "immigrated" to other forums because of Gestapo tactics and Chavez-like moves by quite a few number of folks on here.

You actually think we should entertain such stupid assertions that Apollo 11 was faked? Like I said, there is a different between legitamite skepticism and just being an idiot. Should we also entertain the idea the US government was behind 9/11? Give me a break...
If you or anyone else can't handle criticism, then maybe you should go somewhere else. I find it odd you actually believe that by going to another political forum, you won't find the same criticism there. It's politics, don't expect everyone to be all, "ladidadi, let's all be friends", especially when the topics at hand are utterly ridiculous conspiracy theories...

Yes it could have, but you making that claim, the burden of proof is on you to prove it.
quote: | But anyway, I am not in denial over the Moon landing because to me it is irrelevant, as I stated in my first 2 posts on this thread. But the attitudes and voices I've heard totally show why so many people have left this forum. There's just no life here anymore, because people who try starting discussions get their asses annihilated by people who come here to make themselves feel better by thrashing others. They should get a life. I come here for a lively, varied discussion, which once existed to a certain extent on this forum. Even if I have a certain viewpoint on the issue, I dont want everyone to agree with me and everything I say and post the same shit that I think and like. That would be retarded. |
Again, criticism is to be expected in a political forum. Don't take it personally, jeez...
Don't go the way of colorut and trancer who only do "hit and run" posting, then scurry away at the first hint of skeptical criticism.

Magnetonium that's a shame, hope you'll come back man.
Before I say anything else, I want to state that I wholeheartedly conclude that the American's landed on the moon. I understand the nature of the situation brings rise to a conspiracy-but that is a phenomenon that will always arise whenever something of this scale happens.
I do feel the forum has an anti-conspiracy tinge to it, but I fully understand it after seeing how delusional some people can be(colorut, trancer-x, etc.). We must not forget however, certain events that have occurred in recent history that can be labeled as conspiracies at face value.
-Syria's likely assasination of Hariri
-Saddam not having chemical weapons in 2003 (i was labeled as a CT for rejecting so called intelligence reports, as a 9th grader mind you)
-Numerous Israeli assasinations of Iraqi Scientists, through some "larger than fiction" methods
-Omar Torrijos's Assasination In Panama
-Iran Contra Affair
-CIA arming on the PKK side in the mid 90's in the kurdish civil war, who they list as a terrorist organization
-my claims about the personal ruthlessness of individual UAE royalty(affirmed with vid released of sheikh issa torturing an afghan using many methods)
-Ramzan Kadvyrov being responsible for the murder of human rights workers/journalists
-Any general claim of corruption in a political infrastructure that lacks the ability to effectively investigate.
-Al Qaeda not having Batman Bunkers inside the mountains.
-Mubarak is a puppet
-Medvedev is a puppet
-X, Y, and Z are puppets
There is obviously many factors to take into account, and it largely depends on your knowledge of a given region. My examples are obviously exceptions rather than rules in the vast pool of conspiracy theories, since i can come up with a conspiracy right now about anything.
for example: Who killed Michael Jackson? Ahmadinejad. Think about it, it completely turned away the media frenzy, and without the international attention the Iranian movement subsided.Wake up u fuckin' sheep!.... I am pretty sure by chance there are thousands of people completely spending their time "researching" this theory.
Your views will always be seen as "sheepy" by someone, so you can't let that affect you either. Almost all of us are sheep to American/British propaganda in the eyes of the Iranian regime, and our justification of our rational beliefs will be seen as "conspiracy against god".
