WOW i am in compete F@ck!nG shock that they had the nerve to even consider doing something so retarded....I have been to dome once in my life and i wasnt impressed by the staff.

I am sorry that you had to experience this in our city. I love my city and its nightscene and i am disgusted that something like this would happen here. I am glad you stud up for what you believed was right.

You can bet that i wont be putting foot or a penny into dome ever again because of this shit they pulled on you.

Just wanted to throw a big thanks to everyone who took time to read my post and made a comment!

I got my money > but in the end it's not about that, it's about my professional pride as a dj and about the crowd in the club who were left wondering what happened (because I'm sure the people working for the club wouldn't explain it in a favourable way...)

Anyway, I'll be back in Montreal sooner than later I'm sure but not at the where I recently half-spun.

Ville/Darude

I was in Kingston last weekend during Homecoming weekend (as I was the year before this too). Sick parties.

There is this club called 'Stages'. It was great last year (girls making out with girls, and girls flashing the crowd). I went there again this year and it was horendous!

The dj's never let the song play out--cutting the songs off halfway thru (even if the crowd is trying to sing along). They Trainwreck every time. Then the dj dropped 'Feel The Beat'.

I was all happy 'cuz it's a sick ch00n. Then the fucking dj drops samples into the song! I wanted to punch that ****** out. Some gay assed samples during Feal The Beat is just wrong.

Then, to top it off, the fucking guy spins out of 'Feal the Beat' at the build-up portion (the best part) and into some soft rock tune. I couldn't believe my ears!

Fucking worst dj duo evar.


On a high note, the dj dropped back to back Daft Punk songs. I was at the front of the dance floor and the front is lined with about 6 to 8 big subwoofers. I never in all my life ever felt a bass so strong without any distortion. My ears were rumbling, and my clothing was shaking to the beat. Insane sound system there, and IMO better than anywhere I've been (Guv, Kool Haus, Aria, etc.). Would have been sick if the dj's weren't gay.

SCREWWWWW ANYONE WHO TREATS A WORLD CLASS DJ AND PRODUCER LIKE THAT!!!!!! I can't wait to see Darude spin at the Guv on 29th Dec. I hope it will be a better experience for everyone.... It better be... I've waited since freakin 1998 when I heard trance for the first time to see Darude live and some useless piece of crap manager better not mess up his set! and i must say, that tracklisting was extremely good, guess that *boss* doesnt know shit about trance... freakin' prick.

and i must say your last album, 'rush' was excellent as well... some massive tunes on that one...

its a shame that people dont give you enough credit as you deserve...
