Prydz in Cleveland?! HA! I would pay rock concert prices if that were ever to happen! It's hard enough getting the guy to come stateside...
Seriously would be awesome though. I drove to DC last year to see him and enjoyed every minute. |
+1.
Just some random thoughts:
I'd love to see some DJs that haven't been in Cleveland yet. I'd love to see the likes of J00F, Orkidea, and a few others.
On a side note, I'm pretty surprised that those Grind parties with KT were unsuccessful. I went to all of them and KT kicked ass as usual.

Where did you see that? They go for $35 + $4.5 surcharge, which is the same as wantickets website.
Mike:
I wasn't bashing you personally. Just stating my frustrations.

Obviously. I meant that I was surprised by the poor turnout. EDM scene in Cleveland is shit. People here only care about big names. Personally, I've been going to Dan Stark's parties. They generally kick ass. Otherwise, Mike is probably the only promoter that puts out decent parties. I generally don't even bother with other promoters. I'm not going to give any names, but cringe when I see a so -called experienced DJ trainwreck on every single transition. Or one guy that spins trance on vinyls, that acts like Armin with all his "Jesus" poses.
/end rant

Oh, I know. no problem at all. It is important that people voice their opinions as it helps me and my partner do our best to fine tune things to accomidate our clientele. We thank everyone for all the support as we strive to improve Ohio's EDM scene daily.
Some side notes. We have offers monthly to do a Prydz show, in fact, we have already done one in Detroit @ Bleu and we have another one on the books. It scares us to bring him out to Cleveland right now. I believe that there would be a loyal following, just not enough to support a proper show.
We have many acts that have never been to Ohio scheduled for the fall. We work on our bookings everyday. Just let us get through these Tiesto & PVD dates as well as Sizzle Fest. We will be bringing some suprises in the fall so don't lose the faith people.
We hope to see you all on Tuesday @ Tiesto Cleveland!
Best Regards, Michael (Tru)
