I kinda like that intro, break that comes in later that introduces the 303 sounding sytnhs is cool. Though when your bassline comes in it's hard to notice, probably clashing with the 303 sound. WHen the bass is left with the stringy sound I can hear it clearly. Though why is everybody using the same offbeat bass pattern. I know you can do better then that. That piano part might go on too long, but I think I can take it. The high not melody is cool. I don't feel there is enough delay on things, ( im a sucker for delay). Oh oh, a sawtooth sound would be cool, well maybe really standered but they are so much fun. I guess what ever you like is good. But something has gotta happen thatis climax-ish, well maybe not have to, but it be fun. Ahhh there is that saw tooth sound.
Nice track, it uses pop elemetes but does not sound at all pop.
You did good. just make sure all you eq and compresion issues are dealt with. On my play back (g5 iMac speakers) i didn't notice any bad sounds. Soo, uh , yeah.

THANKS SO MUCH Frost-RAVEN and slyfoxark!!!! This is my first song made available on the net, so I'm really stoked hearing anything and everything from anyone! I really appreciate it.
Frost-RAVEN: "Though why is everybody using the same offbeat bass pattern. I know you can do better then that." <-- AWESOME!!! I guess I've been really engulfed in that old-school sound, but I know it's an obstacle that will hold back potential and growth, so I definitely acknowledge your what you're saying. I AM going to play around with some delay now that you mention it, and YES!!! sawtooth sounds are great so I'll try to test some creativity. Thanks!
slyfoxark: Regarding the piano works, I know it's pretty basic and could use more touching up. Do you have any suggestions, or know any examples that I can listen to for a little more insight? Aside from making it flow better rhythmically in its chord progressions, should I introduce some lead notes that fall within the scale to help its fluidity? and yea...I do need to work on eq and compression. Thanks!
Someone else also mentioned that kicks might need some more compression work too. Any takes on this, anyone? Thanks, and I'm really looking forward to some more feedback...

Thanks DJ Animus....I'm probably gonna give the fade and panning a try when I get home from work, along with a trial of a lower chord to compliment the highs. Also, do have a link that I can take a listen to your song....I'd be more than glad to comment. <---nevermind...I found your post =)
To all....to make the piano seem a little less redundant and lingering, I'm thinking about cutting it after the end of the breakbeat build, and then re-introducing closer to when the synth strings come in again. Any thoughts?
I'm glad for all the positive feedback and the welcome, and I can't wait till this project is close to perfection!!!

DJ Balti: "Thanks for comenting on mine and I cant wait to hear how this turns out. Send me a link when its done."
You're welcome, and I sure will.
Alright everyone, so far the main issues are the bassline, piano, and eq-ing and compression. Anything else anyone can find on this track to comment on??? Thanks!
And BTW, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
