heh well after searching and asking cancun residents on facebook, i only have a list of places that are 'edm-friendly' and no specific events.
some of them are: nectar bar, the city, o ultra lounge, mixx, and rush.
i think the general idea is that no one knows WTF is going on until the week or day of an event and that BPM is pretty much the only thing happening early january in the area.
further comments and suggestions would be helpful in either english or spanish. :P
