Last year (when I found out many labels from back in the day vanished) I started to gather the releases from these discontinued catalogues. I'm still working on listing everything on this Discogs page, so it would be easy to find for those looking for this material as well. Anyway, if there's anyone here archiving this stuff as well / looking for releases from discontinued labels / has suggestions for discontinued labels to check out, then by all means let me know. I'm happy to help out and I would also welcome any help I can get.

Initially thought these were gonna' be some way underground '90s labels, so was shocked at seeing them being '00s net labels. Have we really gotten so old?
Anyhow, I actually have something from one of them!

Lots of '00s digital labels are starting to vanish now, and they risk becoming the most forgotten of all dance music. Even the most obscure '90s label has left behind physical artefacts to circulate in second hand shops and house clearances. These net labels from an era of peak piracy may only have sold 30-40 MP3s of certain tunes, if that.
There's definitely been one or two tunes I held off buying assuming they'd be online forever and now they're gone with no possible hope of retrieval.

The irony here is that piracy is probably the only way your going to find some of these tracks in a proper kept archive.
Many people would collect releases or grab anything new in their FTP share even if it was not there kinda of style.
Yeah... I'm counting on them. A lot of producers / label owners told me that they lost their releases somewhere along the way.
