seeing as Fifa tends to make almost a half of million or more in profit this year and Germany over a billion in income from this tournament I really dont see any changes coming....

I just really hope that they do something about the ridiculous diving. Another referee would help I guess.

I'm a bit ignorant about this: can diving be considered a foul? It certainly should.

diving (or schwalbe) should be a red card imho. More players will stop diving when they are treathened with a red card.
Also the new off-side rule sux, they should've stayed with the basic rules, 1 player off-side = ALL off-side
Football needs more stricktly rules

I did remember seeing a couple of yellow cards being handed out for blatent dives, but I do agree with two referees and tougher punishment for dives.

The one rule i dont understand why the changed is the passing back to the keeper one, it was forbidden for the keeper to pick the ball up with his hands if one of his players passed it back to him, if he did it was a penalty, and yet i saw lots of it this WC. I think that rule shouldve stayed. The if 1 player are offside all are offside i dont agree with, if that player doesnt interfere with the play i see no practical problem with it.

At that point you kind of crossed the rubicon and you might as well lay siege to Rome

what you saw were players heading the ball back. thats allowed. kicking it back isnt.

What does that have to do with an article about poor play quality? And I think FIFA made a bit more than half a million...

if a player kicks the ball back to the GK and the GK holds it on the ground for, i think, 3 secs - he can pick it up.
