Ugh, no, being drunk or high only makes you think that the track doesn't suck. You're fooling yourself but you won't fool anybody else.
Drunk may actually be worse because you don't always realize later on that you produced crap. If you're high you just forget everything you were thinking and feeling the previous day, but the emotional attachment to a new track seems to persist through a drunken hangover, causing people to insist that the track is fine, and that in general they produce better tunes while drunk.
There's no limit to the human capacity for self-delusion, but have mercy on the rest of us and produce your tunes with a clear head.
