1) Bring your BPM down a bit. I'm not sure where you stand right now but 135-6 would be a good tempo for this.

2) Switch it up melodically, the human ear has a tendency to get bored fast. Even in dance music, that's why you hear automation, FX, filters, cut's, etc.

But the ultimate rule to remember: Keep plucking away. You've got a good foundation sir.

I do like the big potential of this track! My biggest advice would be to listen to and closely analyse a pro song that you admire and that you want to sound like and gradually incorporate ideas until your elements have a similar power. Keep referring back to that pro sound constantly while you produce to keep your ears calibrated and eventually you'll start nailing the sounds piece by piece. For example, most of your sounds here seem to contain too much emphasis in the 250-800Hz frequency range, which is the main range that causes that muddy sound so try to cut frequencies here by a few dB when they are not needed (esp low bass elements and high percussion instruments - they rarely need 250-800Hz to sound the way they are meant to) and already you'll notice that things play better together without clashing.

Having said all that, you've improved since your earlier attempts so you're well on your way and your ideas are solid so you'll be making monster tunes someday, keep plugging at the technical aspects!

Yeah i switched the bpm down a little does work and fit the style of the track better cheers , Still looking into the track and adding some automations/fx here and there to make the flow and progression a lot smoother.

Yeah mastering and analyzing the db/frequencies of different layers in the track is my bad point, My PC unfortunately cannot play the full track inside FL without spazzing out and distorting like hell so it makes it very hard to fix the problems on the spot. Saying all that looking back at the tracks I've done before there improving a lot so practice makes perfect or so they say .

I feel your pain, its definitely worth the money to upgrade to a faster PC - its frustrating when clipping interferes with the creative process so do that as soon you can! I upgraded a while ago to a macbook pro but i still get issues towards the end of a track so I'm looking at putting together a quadcore PC. You should also be open to trying Reason or Cubase - some people do get great sound out of FL but learning a new DAW can really help with expanding outside your box

As a former die-hard FL studio fan, I can say the switch to Ableton for myself was the best thing I could have done. I'm not saying it's the right thing for you, but since you are an FL studio user perhaps you might find the same success that I did.

Yeah i'm looking into getting ableton its alot more diverse gives you more freedom and the quality of the whole program in term of sound/functions etc is brilliant. I think to become better you gotta evolve with the time's FL is great for starting out but ableton will take production to a whole new level.

Also novastorm the track was mostly inspired by Daniel Kandi & Robert Nickson - Liberate :P just totally amazing !
