well I must say im quite surprised. I havent got a chance to listen this album through, but on the halfway I can say its pretty darn good. You've already heard music & next to you.. the other tracks are even better.. Bitter Sweet reminds me a little bit of Above & Beyond.. All in all the tracks I have listened so far are very well produced..


PS: NO sandstorm sounds in this album

where the fuck can i get this? i have always been 100% supportive of darude and his work, his tunes bring me great joy and satisfaction. is this only getting released in finland? And has this great album hit the hub yet?

It's actually pretty sweet album. Much better than i expected, even if i'm not a real Darude hater.. as most TAs seem to be. They shouldn't judge artists just by their name.

well... if you really are supportive of darude as you say you are, you'll go to the store on the 25th when the album is released and buy it... before that, i'm pretty sure, you can evaluate the album on the emc hub

Damn, is this really THE darude? Very nice album!

Too mellow, I expected a more upbeat tempo. There are a few good songs but nothing that will knock you off your feet.

fosho i will. the thing is, i don't know if and when this will be released in the states. if it is, i will be the first one down at the shop pre-ordering myself a copy.

I liked Bitter Sweet most... this album is DEF. ! better than I expected...

so what style is this? uplifting? what is the best tune of them?

damn! bitter sweet is nice! i didn't expect that from darude. gotta listen to the whole album, but i'm already pretty sure i'll buy it! oh and "music" and "next to you" are ok too, but i don't really need the album for those, because i have the cd maxis!

bitter sweet was the only track that really stood out. i hope that it's the next single release, thatway i wouldn't have to buy the album, but i'll have to see about that, maybe some of the tracks will sound better if i listen to them again, dunno!

the first album was way better with a whole new sound never heard before, like or not. this one is just about mainstream trance. and thats the worst thing you can listen now days.

this kills his last albums 10x over, its really is a show of what he is made of, and with tunes like 'bitter sweet' and 'healing' i recon darude can see his tunes being played by the best again, e.g. armin, ferry, pvd etc

iam really really happy to see such good music from him!!

03. Bitter Sweet

After hearing Bitter Sweet, Music & Next to You I must say I'm a bit disappointed with the overall album.
Sure, it's a lot better than Before the Storm and has a few excellent tracks but it repeats itself way too much. All the tracks have been cut out of the same formula (except Ranta, which is a fucking tune) and the album gets quite boring towards the end of it.

That's not to say it's a bad album... maybe I was just expecting too much.

umm, the FIRST one was more mainsream wasnt it?

Anyhow, this totally kicks his first album. Good effort.

bitter sweet is very nice.. reminds a bit of Robert Miles - Children. is "dream trance" back?

And yep bitter sweet is awesome :P...you really wouldnt know it was darude.

this is by far the best album i've heard in years. fav tracks: drive, passing by, rush, bitter sweet, serendepity, and all the rest. darude is at the top of his game right now. you just can't fuck with him. he's unstoppable. he makes tiesto, armin, and ferry look like amateur producers with this album. Darude 4 LIFE!!!
