Superb track! The melody is excellent! Those amazing strings own me..
I love the breakdown after the main part, it's brilliant. If I was to suggest one improvement, it would be to excite the lead a bit more... hey it's good already but I'm finding it hard to find weaknesses!

This is a really great track, you guys should be proud.

This track's got a very neat melody. I also like its driving bassline. Percs are a bit weak though, with the hihats a bit too loud in my opinion. The main lead could use a clearer (higher freq) sound too, it sounds a bit muffled to me.

Other than that a very neat track mate, keep it up!

Thanks guys.
The thing with this track is that we haven't done any kind of post-production so there may be slight volume errors and stuff in there...

I was gonna master it but it's gonna have to wait thanks to my HD failure...

sounds really nice man
don't have anything to comment on

Posted by [mart] on Apr-23-2003 19:59:

Thanks S2K, Lightworks and dbl - we'll see what we can do

Posted by allstar on Apr-23-2003 21:25:

Oh yea. Is this open for remixes?

Posted by _Marco_ on Apr-23-2003 21:41:

yeah nice melody
classy tune
3rd min: i think that the claps are not welcome in that part cuz its too weak but maybe its just me!
the melody is very cool

Posted by Endre on Apr-23-2003 22:09:

yeah, i like the melody. its nice. but kinda 'random' (fu mart )
nice works guys

Posted by Bren-F on Apr-23-2003 23:28:

Good track guys
nice melody (as usual )

although I thought that U could have made the percussion a bit more driving, to keep the mix flowing.
Maybe some unexpected twists in the whole layout of the track could have brightened it up a tad

anyway thats just my worthless thoughts

Nice track

I bet you didn't know this but Al Azar stands for 'random'

S2K:
I don't know how Mart feels but I'd say it's open for remixes

Absolutely. If you need a MIDI of the main melody or something like that, PM me and I'll get it to you as soon as I can.

What equipment do you use ???

Posted by mantisnl on Apr-24-2003 10:50:

really like that melody, but as LW said.. percs could be better and the synth more crispy

Posted by DJPrototypeX on Apr-24-2003 13:41:

this is seriously not my cup of joe (not my style)...but i think its an amazin song...all the right elements are there, although its a bit thin IMO...dunno why...but it is a great song...the melody is great...hahaha...keep it up

That's cool guys. If either of you could email me the midi's to [email protected] that'd be great

Posted by TOR on Apr-24-2003 17:37:

whoa, this ownz! i agree with lw about the main synth, but overall a great track..

Posted by GrimReaper on Apr-24-2003 18:06:

All'n'all quite well produced tune, some things can be changed by mastering, like the claps after the 3 mins don't need to be there.. give the percussion more drive, etc.. Good job anyway!

I'll send them once my mail server starts working again...

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Apr-26-2003 11:23:

As I've finally managed to get Reason working again I've started a little revision on this track - nothing major, just balancing out the volume levels, tweaking the percs and stuff like that... should be up shortly.

Edit:
You may also prepare yourselves for a Beat Project remix...
