Is it the man or the woman's fault?

As u know,RAPE n MOLEST cases are on the rise.
Is the man at fault?
Is the woman at fault for dressing sexily, causing guys to be horny?

Posted by butterfly on May-20-2003 12:46:

it is ALWAYS a man's fault. i didnt even need to read the content of the thread to know that.

Posted by TranceGiant on May-20-2003 12:56:

What a stupid question that is really

Posted by Fundamental on May-20-2003 13:21:

Sorry to say this man, but that's a stupid and ignorant thing to say. People could get offended by what you are saying.

I would edit your post before someone quotes you on what you are saying here...

it will depend on each individual case and it is impossible to atribute blame to a particular sex.

as to wommen dressing sexily i try (normally without suceding) to look my best as does the majority of others, and you cannot blame such serious attacks on what a person is wearing

What a stupid thread, you mug!

On a more serious note:

Isn't it the own fault of wealthy people when they get robbed and/or killed? I mean, hell, they provoke jealousy with all their money!

If somebody shoots you for asking a stupid question who's fault is it?

We live in a society where we are free to choose what we wear, who we talk to, what to drive.. and all of the above.. thats what makes us different to the animals, we have the choice to live the way we want to...

Thats bullshit... provoke with all their money.. so what its indecent to have nice things, nice clothes.. dood u got it all wrong... life is about choices and no one has the right to tell you otherwise what you can and what you can't do....

And about the rape... women are to be treated as they are... women.. they are human beings for f**k sakes!!!

Sure guys can be horny and there's a cure for that.. get a bloody life and go get urself a girl, treat her right and respect her.. sex is only a small part of life, the world does not revolve around sex 24/7.

Sure.. look @ this idiot... what a gay kunt!... u know what... thats fine with me.. cause of 2 things.. its ok to be gay.. i live in a world where i accept people as they are.. because they have a brain.. not because they are gay or black or from another nationality!!!

2, you can call me gay.. but at least i have something called morality my friend.. i don't need to get a girl drunk or on GhB to bloody have sex with them... G'ssss

Sorry about my language, if it has offended people.. but its just not right that people think this way, thats its allright to force women...

I'm sorry to tell you now, after u've written all of that, but my post was yet another sarcastic allusion to his fallacious argument.

Sarcastic yes... right.. NO!

well said there mate, what you said there were my thoughts as well

Posted by {b.s.e.} on May-20-2003 14:02:

you're talking about extreme east indian culture there, buddy. where women are forced to cover every body part except for their eyes to avoid being raped by sexually repressed men. we cannot place any blame on a victim of a sexual predator. if a guy can't keep his dick in his pants he should go farm sheep.

Do you have any idea what being sarcastic means?

Posted by trancEyes22 on May-20-2003 14:15:

please tell me you are kidding. of COURSE it's the man's fault!! i don't care if the woman led him on, dressed slutty, said she wanted it-- none of that matters if she said no. yeah, i'd suggest deleting this thread now that you see how ridiculous it is.

WTF, "small part of life"? Sex is the meaning of life. That's why we're still here, cause we have sex. GOD ORDERED us to have sex... And particularly, I enjoy it quite a lot... hehehe...

And people that rape women are f**ked in the head...

Posted by Stphanie on May-20-2003 16:48:

Definitly NOT a stupid thread! But it should be in the debate forum...anyways for whatever reason, men who rape woman are deraged ppl.

Well, obviously the creators of religion realized the importance of procreation for future development. I don't think a religion where sex would be banned could survive for long.

Anyway, to get back to the point...It is true that a woman in sexy clothing is most probably displaying a desire for sex, and therefore is logical that males will think of her as available and willing. Still, since we have been granted the ability to converse between each others, the situation can easily be clarified, and therefore any acts of rape are clearly the male's fault (or female's if the male was raped ). But, as there are many lunatics on the streets, a woman should be aware of the fact that her clothes may invoke certain feelings in males around her which might prove to lead to undesireable consequences. So while I have every right to wave around with a 100$ bill in a bad neighbourhood, common sense dictates I should not do so, regardless of the fact that it's the thief's fault if my bill gets stolen. Ideally, women should be able to dress any way they desire without suffering any consequences, but sadly we don't live in a perfect world. Basically, what I'm saying is that it's in no way the girl's fault if she gets raped, but she should be careful since rightiousness will be a small comfort to her if such a thing happens.

What's there to debate? It's like me asking the question, "If I punch you in the face are you going to like it?"
