ofcourse i would, well sum form of electronic music would be played without a doubt.

last year 4 gatecrasher regulars were involved in a car crash on theyre way to gatecrasher early in the morning after visiting another club, 3 of them died (god bless theyre souls) . unfortunatley i wasnt at the funerals, but i do know there were a few trance anthems played at theyre service, one of them was william orbit - adagio for strings.

personally id be turning in my grave if no hardtrance or hardstyle was played at my service

But to state again.
Agneli & Nelson - Embrace (Original) Happy and Sad at the same time!

Yeah why not, it would probably bring back memorys to the parents.
You know what i mean, the constant shouting up the stairs "Turn That Noise Down!!"
It would b a good tribute!

I know this bloke who got married, and he wanted Fatboy Slim 'Gangster Trippin' to be played at his wedding!

Yeah well it does have a sombre mood to it

Posted by N|te-L|fe on May-23-2003 15:31:

I'm not sure it would be appropriate...

It would remind people too much of me

And they might not like it and be uncomfortable

I might not like it myself as much when I get that old

Posted by mute79 on May-23-2003 15:31:

yeah... i heard it played at 9/11 memorial few years ago, it sounded so moving and emotional being played live by an orchestra...

I'd go for some classical music but it won't really matter to me. Whatever helps the grieving masses.

i would suggest having

slipknot - surfacing

just for kicks.

somebody said that some guy had mauro played at his wedding... *grin* that would be suuweett.. (note: mauro not actually there.. just had some of his tunes played).

As for funeral materialL:

Accadia - Into the Dawn (James Holden Remix) ... good... parting song methinks.

these are my thoughts too. Why hurt ppl even more, I'm dead-well,will be -,why make more of a fuss?..
that'd be somekind of a cry-out for attention.

i have to agree that i don't really care, but if i gotta then...

Kool & The Gang - Celebration

I don't know. I think if trance were to be played at my funeral, I would want "Sasha - Wavy Gravy". To me, the song is like a renewal of life, like the sun breaking through the clouds after a long storm. I think it would be very appropriate.

I also think (If you don't mind some serious cheese) that 4 Strings - Let it Rain would be a good song to play at a funeral, with the lyrics and all. Just a thought.

"if i knew what a funreal was i would probably play some music at it"

ooookkk then

On the topic, yes, i will choose something like sun.. vs push - please save me, but with more apropriate lyrics

who cares it's not like your corpse will suddenly grow a pair of working ears so you can "rave in the grave".

i don't care if they play Avril Lavine, or stick my body in a blender, im dead!
