from which label do you own the most records? and how many?
hi guys!
i started sorting my old collection and came across a bunch of Bonzai records realizing that this is the label I bought the most records of.
I did not yet count any of the Bonzai Trance or Bonzai Trance Progessive sub-label, but already reached 53 records.
Here is a little list, maybe missing 2 or 3.
So which record label is it that you can't let your hands off?
Bonzai: 15 records
(I know, rather limited, but so is my collection: only 40 records
)
bonzai, lost language, tsunami, and more recently ID&T
I've got a dozen or so from Nucleuz I really like that label--especially the killer tracks they've been putting out lately on the green label.
probably subliminal or yoshitoshi..... never really thought about it...
tsunami
Yoshitoshi and Hooj
Hooj, Vandit, Tsunami. (I only have 25 records or so but meh, it's growing strong)
Baroque, Bedrock Pitch Black, 3Beat (and sublabels), Renaissance, Hope, Yoshitoshi
well as for labels that people here are familiar with I'd say I own a lot of Black Hole/ITWT stuff but nothing really new... mainly two or three years + old. but they make up a very, very, very small portion of my collection.
Overdose and Uberduck(sp?)
heh, I don't even know the names/labels of half my record collection. I just recognize the sleeve, and know what it sounds like... When I hit the vinyl shop, I don't even pay attention to labels, just grab a ton of vinyls and start listening, if it sounds good, I buy it... Labels don't really mean that much to me.

hrm, nukleuz or tidy trax.. tho my vicious circle rekkids are catching up :O
Its all about Black Hole/In Trance We Trust/Magik Muzik. Just counted mine up and i got bout 48 records on this label. In my eyes, this label just doesn't go wrong, well except for Umek - Gatex, but thats a personal opinion
Hehe. I have a friend in Norway who has all of them I think.
Not shitting you.
But, if you've been a fan since the beginning then that explains it.
Tiesto made it big in Norway before his own country.
Bonzai! lemme go count
64! including all sublabels ofcourse (XTC, Camouflage, Scanner, etc)
ID&T got 3
of that label, and Green martian got 2
i have about 38 records, but not duplicate labels ...
maybe BMG
about 16 or something!
but that's CDs and most of it pretty shit!
edit:
got pretty much stuff from xtravaganza and lost language too + many other labels that i can't remember!
Probably ITWT or Lost Language, too lazy to go look. =\
Whites, the most I got don't have a label, and most of them I don't even know the name of the artist or the title.
if 'white' or 'unknown' counts then thats it
otherwise its Vandit with 7
Above the sky comes close 2nd with 5
^
yeah I like my white labels too. lol
I have all the Above The Sky releases. I <3 them
Not all the ATS Ltd's yet though.. even though there's only like two or three i think? can't remember. Also they're great guys there. Always been nice and helped me out.
