TA's Spinning: Fruitful Fusion, June 7th (Kitchener)

TA's Spinning @ Elements in Kitchener!

If anyone will be in the K-Dub vicinity this saturday night, please come by to the Air Lounge at Elements night club to hear Tranceaddict's very own Sohaness (AKA Steve Ohanessian) and Vagrant (AKA Matt(RyanMarcus) and Eric) will be laying down some banging prog, and Gueplh's FreakyG will be treating us to some funky tekhouse and breaks.

Erika and I will be hosting the event, and due to the interest that's already started to build, as well as the fact that a good contingent of our own will be there making the most of the $2.00 drinks (before midnight), this looks to have the makings of a wonderful evening. Cover is a mere $4.00, and things will get rolling at 10:00PM.

Hope some of you are able to make it out to support the locals!

Hey everyone :)

As a sort of spinnoff of this past weekend's successful event @ System, and also as an attempt to give Kitchener an opportunity to experience a good solid trance event, I'm also planning on throwing an all-TA event here @ my own night. If anyone is interested in playing, or attending such an event, PM me or reply to this post. I'd like to see what kind of interest this idea generates before actually setting things in stone

I am pretty excited about this saturday. i'm unsure if we have a stong enough k-dub contingent to pull off a TA night. i guess this saturday will be a indication of what kind of support exists in the area Either way, it should be a hella fun night.

Our headliner FreakyG (gavin) has said that he is going to play a mix of genres including techhouse, trance, house. hopefully the music will appeal to lots of ppl We are hoping that this night will really go off, so that we can bring some more guest DJ's/TA DJ's, and make the air longue a really good alternative for EDM.

If you're a fan of Gabriel and Dresden, Eric and I (Vagrant) often play a sound similar to theirs. If people are diggin' that direction, you likely be in for a pleasant surprise

Man id love to go. but being the $2 drinks deal i assume it is 19+ so as usual im screwed. But, locals, KW-Guelph. Drop me a line here, or msn or icq, love to have more TA's in the area and some ppl to spin on my show. (CFRU 933 Mon 4-6).

well, the night went off like a rocket (if i do say so myself). more to come... there aren't a lot of TA's in the kdub region so i dunno if a TA night is a plausible idea...unless we can swing a TA roadtrip or something (it is only an hour away...)

steve/sohannes was a brilliant opener w/ lots of sweet funky prog.

freaky G was off the fawkin' hook. really hard stuff, so much energy!

vagrant was vagrant eric dropped a clocks remix at the end of the night and matt layered smashing pumpkin's 'disarm.' both procured a fantastic crowd response.

anyone that considered coming and didnt show missed out.

gavin destroyed the place and matt n eric threw down a stellar closing set...my first time seeing them play and they rocked it!

'big ups'...no no...huge ups to matt and tara (and all others involved) for putting together and promoting such an awesome event. you guys did a kick ass job!!

I went to this one. Overall it was ok. Steve/Sohannes dropped kick ass progressive trance. I thought that of all the set from 11:00-1:30 his was the best one . Didn't know that Steve was on TA , because I did hear him spin at other events, and I've talked to him a couple of times before that and he never mentioned that he was on TA. Anyway, the other sets were too hard, it seemed to me like the sets from 11:30 to 1:30 were being spun with house vinyls at like 160 bpms . Well I can't wait untill this friday to see Tiesto, Armin, and Ornadel @ Aria .
