300 PILLS of E

A male friend has taken 300 MDMA pills (acquired from the same source in Amsterdam and tested with testing kits). The first 200 times were usually awesome with each use increasingly followed by a worse depression and insomnia. Ignoring these symptoms he continued to take 2-3 pills every weekend. Over Labor Day weekend he consumed 7 pills. That was the last time he used it. After the weekend he became severaly depressed and hasn't slept more then 2 hours a night in the five months since his last use. He is unable to concentrate or complete tasks. He does not remember most of the so called incredible times he had on MDMA. He dose not smoke, drink, or take other drugs (except benzos which he used to come down of the MDMA).

Now he is afraid he has done permanent damage to his brain. He is hoping abstinence will enable him to recover. 5-HTP, melatonin and SSRI's have reduced the depression but the insomnia and memory loss are showing no signs of abating.

I found this story at erowid.com, it has stories of bad trips and among other unpleasant experiences. This one takes home the trophy for stupidity.

Anyways, that guy is surely toasted his brain chemistry, permanent axion damage to his neurons (meaning it doesn't fire off, which means less serotonin produced). I don't think this guy was pass his 20s. Who could be that stupid, not the mention the 'friend' just LET him take it?? Unbelievable!

I know its already been said, but you just have to be careful when you take any kind of drug... Aren't you supposed to wait a week or so between X-ing... I dunno, never done it, but I'll try it soon enough...

All I can say is what an idiot. I have no remorse for anyone that abuses drugs like that. Fair enough, he may have is fair share of problems, but that's just ludicrous.

Stupid bastard!

This one of the reasons i don't try e and that kind of drugs, cause what happens after the use nobody knows, since there comes new types of pills all the way. I heard of people that got psychological problems years after their last pill, but that might be anti-drug propaganda..

i don't do lots of drugs but stories like this always make me think about why i can't remember where i put my keys or something.

like i said before...Drugs are the biggest cause to really fucking up the electronic music scene....... when there are more people going to a party to get drugs rather then experiance good music then its FUCKED!!! and thats how it is most of the places.......... thats why i gave up on Raves....as weekly party hang outs....... i only go to raves,events,etc....when a particular dj is spinning that i want to see live

i agree with tranceCluber. it gets really sad when the people at the party don't even know the DJ that is spinning and they don't even care to find out. i only go for the name.

thats so not true, you know what're getting into with every pill, its just a matter of knowing your limit and not going overboard... as for 300 pill dude, i just gotta say, drugs aren't for everyone, some people should not take it, period... if youre suffering from depression before trying E, you should not try it at all, youre just digging a bigger hole for yrself... i know a dude that had done 400 pills in one year, thats to say he was partying every weekend, thursday through sunday, last year, and this year he had taken off, and he is feeling fine, no memory loss, no depression (and no, i'm not describing myself)... so the point is, if youre takin E, know your limit and don't take E for the wrong reasons...

i know a guy that completely lost his mind. like psychoville. its scary. Trancegeek-you are right, peeps should know there limits and if a person does not feel like themselves anymore then should stop.

i have not yet seen in person anyone that has really lost their mind cuz of E, i haven't seen anything even close... everyone i know thats doing E is fine... on the other hand, i know a dude that did 18 hits of acid 3 yrs ago, he is still feeling tracers and is partly delerious, now thats fucked...

if you know enough people and they do quite a bit. you will eventually see something happening.
acid is bad.

18 acid ? that is way too much
i have a friend who was doing xtc every weekend last summer, and she is fine, no side effects at all

LISTEN EVERYBODY...first of all, "e" is an awesome drug...thats my honest opion...i haven't shroomed or tried tabs yet but i do love "e"...i don't know how many pills i've dropped but it's definitely more than 60 or 70...i don't know if thats a lot but i did that over a year period and i started to notice that my memeory was kinda giving out and i was definitely feeling down alot...i haven't dropped in over six months and i realized that my memory is back to normal and i am able to concentrate fully on all my tasks...my emotional level is also back at normal...i feel fine...not to say that i am normal now but i feel normal...and maybe thats just for me...my STRONGEST advice to droppers are:
1. try and buy "e" from people you know and trust (for whatever thats worth)

2. don't drop more than 2-3 pills in a night...(after that you won't really peak anymore, you just get really numb and start to freakin hallucinate...i've done 4 1/2 in one night and i remember that i was hallucinating like crazy...depends on the potency of the pills as well)

3. and lastly, when you drop and the roll is not fun anymore, QUIT...( for whatever reason, whether it be depression, or the anticipation of being completely burnt the next day, etc)

"e" isn't bad, honestly, if you don't abuse it and you know your own limits..though what i say might just apply to me and my friends, i would think that the guidelines i stated above would apply to almost everyone..(especially the e-tards out there...haha...)..don't mean to be cliche like everyone else in this thread, but BE THE FUCK CAREFUL...jp

ya, sorry, i forgot to say that he did 18 hits at once, he was trying to commit suicide at the time...
and also, when people say, i forgot where i put my keys and shit, why do u blame it on E? r u sure its cuz of the drugs? u were losing keys before u tried E, right?? well i did... lates

the guy was already an idiot, now he is a real idiot!!!!!!!
