now that flutlicht n shokk have had a long break, there isnt much quality stuff kicking about.

give me some suggestions please as i need new records.

Right that lot should keep u busy for a while As u can see there have been quite a few around recently which leads me to believe that hard trance is coming back and its coming back bigger and better

I'd recognize that Flutlicht sound anywhere thankyaverymuch.

But can you say with a straight face that Dave Joy - First Impression S.H.O.K.K. Remix is kickass but the Dave 202 Remix is cheese?

And that Dumonde - God Music (Flutlicht Mix) is less cheesy than Cosmic Gate - Human Beings (Dave 202 & Phil Green Remix)?

I have no idea what kind of stuff you listen to, but if you say that you like Flutlicht and S.H.O.K.K. and not hardstyle, I'd assume you liked the softer/anthem kind of hardtrance. I would even hesitate to call Flutlicht hardtrance but hey, what do I know, I listen more to Techno anyway...

quality is better music, but cheese and catchy music is the shit that people over hear wanna party to, but the tranceheads on TA are too ignorant to care, too embarrassed to like any thing that is considered catchy, or cheesy, thats pathetic... when they jam that cosmic gate, hennes & cold, dj isaac type beats in da club thats the shit people feel, and it gives them a good feeling, and they have fun, like it or not... i don't give a fuck ,i'm not saying its better music (only IMO for hard trance it is), all i'm saying is i can understand why some people would like it... music is music, who is anyone to tell others what is crap or not

whats the difference between hard trance and hardstyle?

I think Flutlicht epitomised hard trance actually, what would you consider them to be then?

Deffo not hardstyle, coz thats more Scot Project, and even he is borderline commercial hardstyle

Disagree.Their latest productions have been borderline uplifting trance if anything,with the only thing left reminding you of hard trance being the kick(Cosmic Gate - Raging,Thrillseekers - Dreaming Of You, Flutlicht - The Fall). Their remix of Green Court - Silent Heart is an excpetion tho,which is why I like it so much.

^^ the fall id say is harder than silent heart, but anyway

Guyver stuff is classed as Hi-NRG Trance these days.

And Silent Heart is the best thing Flutlicht ever did
