it just sucks because everyone is so hopefull that one of these agreements will last and then in a split second...they bomb again
they just build you up so much...you know even if you know in your heart its not going to last but there is still hope and then it's shattered

NOW Hamas has called off the truce? You call it peace truce when 20 *innocent* people get killed??
There was no peace truce in the first place. Well it was, but it wasn't worth shit as you can see. Terrorist organizations aren't stupid. The only reason they agreed to the truce in the first place is to gain some credibility. The goal of Terrorist organizations is not peace in the middle east, it's the complete destruction of Israel.

hey smart guy. first of all Hamas was not behind the bombing which killed 20 izraeli lifes. And the reason to the bombing was that Israel meanwhile there was a peace treaty killed one of the Jihadi leaders silently. So the revenge was to come. And so it did. And now Israel forced themselv in this neverending spiral of violence.
Just as you say: "Terrorists are not stupid." Its true. Israel is not stupid. They sign a peace treaty to silent the pressure from the rest of the world. Then they put in the heavy weapons.
Nice try izraeliz but this time you had to taste your own flavour of terror.

Hm.. So releasing 300 prisoners and giving away back 2 cities was also done "simply to silent the pressure from the rest of the world" ?? Israel wants that piece more than anyone else. Trust me, Israel is not interested in killing palestinians. The suicide bombings hurt tourism, hurt their economy, lots of people are leaving Israel because of that. All Israel wants is peace. Palestinians also want piece, but Terrorist organizations don't. They want destruction of Israel.

wow man you really are a f#cking idiot
Not even some of the pro-Palestinians here will agree with your murderous justification of this tragedy in which children were killed.... how can you justify the murder of 20 innocent civilians including 6 children?? HOW????
By the way I got a feeling that even though you live in Sweden you are Middle-Eastern......

first of all im not arab. nor am i middle-eastern. where i come from has nothing to do with this debate.
I was not justifying the terror act. i am against terror. I am not supporting any of the palestinian terror organizations. nor am i supporting the terror regime of Israel. Each time any side commits a terror act i feel sad. for both sides.
because each time its the innocents that are the victims.
if you read my post again I said that if Israel was smarter they could have ignored killing that man of the Jihadi group while there still was a peace treaty. Now Israel gets blamed again because they did that and the terror act was an act of revenge.
this is simply a spiral of violence. none of the sides are winning anything. both sides are dickheads.
and so must you be mr dickhead :-)

thats the difference.

each time?
do you consider the jihadist that was killed innocent? the same one that caused a retaliantion in which innocents did die?
it's as if you equate both of these together, i still can not see how the killing of a jihad militant to the killing twenty innocents is equal, let alone israel's fault.

your statement holds no validity, the israeli government is a direct representation of the israeli people (ie democracy). therefore if you say the israeli government does not want peace you therefore imply that the israeli people dont want peace. and to strengthen the israeli people's stance, this government was elected within the past year, where-as mazen was only appointed by arafat

even if the jihadi guy wasn't innocent the people surrounding him was innocent. and each time israel put on airstriking a leader they always kill a few civilians next to him.
besides that. i thought Israel was an democratic country that at least had trials for suspected terrorists?
or have Israel moved on to German anno 1940 style of dealing with "unwanted people" ?

does war agianst terrorism mean anything to you? does the US put on a trial for each iraqi soldier before they kill him? the sheer fact that the islamic jihad has declared war agianst israel (look up their decleration of principles) means that they are an enemy to the state.
since the palestinian islamic jihad is mentioned on the UN terrorist orginization list (just one of the lists its on) doesnt give enough validity for israel to target memebers of that organization then i'm afriad nothing will satisfy you

look, in war an enemy is an enemy, in WW2 american soldiers didnt assess every nazi soldier they met to verify his innocence, if he was a soldier then he was a target
1) the guy who was killed was an active member of the islamic jihad (even they admit that).
2) israel is at war with the islamic jihad (a terrorist organiaztion)
hence, israel targeted this 'non' innocent soldier

I dont know if it was mentioned before or not, I didnt read through the post.. but it was done because the Israel Military or whatever killed the leader of HAMAS and the guy that went suicide was his friend.

That is correct. The argument since has been developed and the current issue is (And let's drop numbers, one life is priceless so it doesn't matter if one or 20 is lost) that one side targeted and active soldier/militant/terrorist and the other targeted the innocent.
After the asssination of the above mentioned Islamic Jihad activist, an official statement from a Jihad spokesman was made where he promised a hit "In the heart of the Zionist entity" which we assume was the bus explosion.
"We" targeted the Jihad, we attacked the mind behind it's actions and the force that drives it to kill - We strive to stop them from killing.
"They" targeted Israeli people, they attacked the common Israeli living person and the force that drives this country to exist - They strive to stop us from existing.

Well, at least there's one positive thing in all this, I see that Abas has finaly said palestinian government will cease all contact with Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Finally both sides have agreed that those organizations should have no validity.

no no
the leader that was killed was killed in retaliation for the bombing, then Hamas ended the truce

second, what is the israeli "flavour" of terror? killing children?

Oh yeah I forgot to relate to this...
I thought most of the recent treaties were, quite the other way around, signed and agreed upon to relieve the pressure off Arafat and/or the rest of the Paslestine leadership...
I guess we look at the situation from different angles
