ihop, I KNOW that a lot of people say that ihop sucks but it really depends on the cook and location.
for example i was in cali and i went to ihop and it was crap there, but the ihop near me is good

I've never been in a restaurant that's given me something - I've always had to pay.

Cardwell's

in Plaza Frontenac. St. Louis

there's one in Clayton but not as good...
(course none of you have a clue what I'm talking about because none knows jack shit about st. louis).

awsome awsome food. prepared very well. different menu every day. beuatiful women are the servers. beautiful women walk thru the restaurant to go shopping. beautiful food is served to you. and if you are me, you get served for free...

great restaurant. if you are ever stranded in st. louis i suggest it. more than any other restaurant. much better than Tony's (if you know what i'm taking about).

Dont even get me started on McDonalds. They dont even use real potato in their chips.

** shuts up, before he gets flamed for abusing America's most popular fast food chain **

ho ho ho Pho 79 biatch!

can anybody tell me why all pho shops have a number next to them?

Posted by occrider on Sep-05-2003 17:46:

Well here's what I read in one review:

quote:

So now the big question: What's with all the numbers? Why are all these restaurants named Pho 75, Pho 95, Pho 79? Unfortunately, there's no clear answer, but speculation has fueled enough urban myths to choke an alligator in the sewer. Asking the management yields only hazy answers. Pho 75 was named by the original owner, a journalist commemorating the fall of Saigon in 1975; the 95, according to staff at Pho 95, is "just a number we threw on the restaurant." For whatever reason, naming pho restaurants by number has become fashionable in the world of Vietnamese restaurants. The cryptic naming convention, though, is a boon to business diners everywhere: It's a great topic of conversation, enough to sustain you and your boring business client through the 20 minutes it takes to tear through a lunch of Washington's best budget dining option.

So I guess the answer is ...

For Lunches, Puccino's Cafe's are the shit, fuckin excellent food and a great place to be to eat. Anyone who's been there will know what i mean.

For Casual Dinners, Wagamama's and Nando's are great, depending on what sorta mood i'm in.

I'm also a fan of A-List Resturants. Obviously you pay lots more, but everything about the place you are in makes the food taste a lot better

The Oxo Tower, Nobu are fantastic places that i've been too. I've also got myself a booking at The Ivy as well in March next year
