Armin van Buuren - New Orleans (10-06-03) MEETUP???

WEll, who's all going? Tix are only $10 a piece! Its at the house of blues and you can get your tickets from ticketmaster. So anyone want to meet up fot this, I'm making a long drive from Austin just for him, so why not make it worth it and have a big meetup.

Forget about trying to drive in the French Quarter if you are not from New Orleans. The streets are very confusing. Just walk or get a cab.

I've only been to New Orleans once, so I don't know the area too well. So...somebody from there should take charge with where to meet. I am going no matter what. I'm buying my tickets right now, and I'm looking for a hotel tonight. It sucks that hes no closer, but I will drive 8 hours to see him. I did for Oakey, I will for Armin!

Ticketmaster is frickin' gay. Tix are 10/piece. I want to buy two and use the lowest costing shipping and it comes out to 50 dollars. WTF???

I just e-mailed Armin's management to get this rolling. Hopefully they comply and this can go down as "dreamed of." Whoever would like to attend please reply to this thread, names will be put up on the FIRST POST, and when and if the meetup is going to happen, I will e-mail/PM each individual of the time and location. I ask everyone not to advertise when the meet-up is set, we wouldn't want a huge crowd gathering around, we would like this to be an intimate/confidential gathering and make the best of it at all possible. Thanks!

I forgot to mention this: I recieved an automated e-mail from David LEwis and he's on vacation til the 16th. So I e-mailed Tim and Maykel and I got one response of Maykel. He told me to try back next week with David, and is sure he'll comply. So, its only another week before we find out.

Did any of the other meet-ups go as planned???

I will definitely be in attendance. AVB in the NOLA Wouldn't miss it for the world. I have about 5 friends that are going and some of them have never seen a big headliner like armin. If you set up a time we would be more than happy to meet up with you.

Kick ass! I put you on the list. I still need to contact Mr. Lewis as he's still on vacation til next week. I will get ahold of him then and set up a time and e-mail everyone individually. Lookin forward to meeting everyone. Hope this goes as planned and Armin complies.

this has already been posted USA local scene, but the info there is misleading to me at least. is it going to start. on sunday night in which case armin set begins at 12 a.m. on 10/6/03 or is it going to be on that monday night. please clarify. because if it is the former i would be able to make it.

Probs too late to help you out now, but for future reference rather than having them ship the tickets to you, you can buy them on whats called "will call" which means you pick up the tickets when you get to the venue. All you have to do is show them the credit card you bought the tix w/ and your id, and you are golden. That or just go to a ticketmaster outlet locally and you will be set
