Alright I apologize for my earlier post.. I thought that hard house was/is the same thing as hard trance but I guess not. So sorry for that.

You can still check out the new release hard house/NRG section at www.chemical-records.co.uk

what kind of hard house are you talking about??? uk hard house or hard house as in chicago hard house as in marc v & poogie bear? Or booty hard house as in ghetto tech like dj deeon?

Posted by bilange on Sep-22-2003 19:30:

I really dont get why people ask for HH tunes on a trance forum. Can anyone explain?

Names are names that all they are......

the forum does say music discussion.

thats what we are doing discussing......
besides i know alot about other styles then just trance so if i can help someone out the better.

seriously mate with answers like these you'll get no where, headover to bangingtunes

and btw hardhouse hasnt taken trance elements.. your more than likely thinking of the kind of hard trance thats released on labels like tidytwo or impact which really is kind of a hybrid between hh and hard trance...

Yeah, I could have just recommended an Extreme Euphoria or Frantic album to him, or recommend him some of the most common hard house tunes (which I did), but no, obscure underground records he hasn't a snowball in hell chance of downloading are much better, eh?

hehe thats getting better

classifications can get a bit silly tho, like for instance extreme euphoria has what your typical uk hardhouse junkie (i.e. me )
would call sub genre's

such as hard trance.. hard nrg and hardhouse

i.e. azure - sunset (tidy white).. hard trance. when really tis a mixture of hard trance and hardhouse !

hard nrg.. well this is a picky 1.. hard to classify..

and then theres your classic hardhouse sound like raff and jay pidgeon - doberman (kaktai)

both of which are featured on the xx compilation.

i think compilations like vicious (the new vc compilation) are really your best example of a mixture of latest and classic quality hardhouse
