MTM presents - NightShift "The last trance night" This Friday!
Hey folks!
A sad occasion, that this will be the last Trance night at NightShift (Since its closing next friday).
We would all love for you too come down and have one last boogie, for old times sake 
Lineup as follows -
Rob Stag - 10pm - 11:30pm (Breaks)
Chris Pana - 11:30 - 1:00am
Steve Strangis Vs Albert Mangler - 1:00am till close
Really sad to see a great clubnight like this go after a great year, PDT (aka Peter Daris) & MTM have been strong supporters of the local trance movement.
Starting from years ago at frantic freeland parties right through too me & Dave Begics Transatlantic 5 / Urban Assault gigs. Have alot to thank Pete for as he has made me get recognized by the likes of you guys from the gigs that he has given to me & Dave.
"Pete, Youv been nothing more than a true friend to me, a strong supporter, I have alot to thank you for. Its been great playing under the nighshift flag for over a year, and has definitly been a very enjoyable experience. Love you like a bruva man......plur!"
Its also been great for the TA's since we have had somethen alittle more frequent to enjoy around town (before the 5AM gang came about) events like the Christmas party, Record Launch party, Easter Party have always a stepping stone for everyones future careers in this industrie.
Its great to see ppl like Pete who is not a typical elitest appreaciates all styles of electronic music and is willing to give us ago.
So hopefulle will be seeing all of you down there one last time

friday night just got busier

. pete was the first person to give me a real go and steve and single handedly provided melbournes only source of true uplifting trance through all melbourne techno massive outlets. i would have LOVED to have played this friday night and say my farewell to a place i loved, but i have many things to do early on saturday morning as discussed with stevo.

Wow! I think Steve has really hit the "plur" spot on his opening topic. Steve, thank you for the very kind words. You know I'm a big supporter of trance and always will be. I used to play it myself *many moons ago*. Hopefully the TAs get one last chance to turn it up and have a blast! It's kinda sad to close doors after having spent a long time in the same space and sharing laughs & booze with your mates. Rest assured, we'll be back, but for one last time, let the 5AM lads take us all on a journey to Steve's doona *cough* I mean an uplifting musical haven.
Thanks to Steve's explanations and a certain Chris Pana, I too am lovin it! Oh dear, have I been lured into the depths that is Steve's doona *cough again* I mean trance-plurry behaviour??? I really am lovin it!
Rock on TAs and thank you all for your ongoing support through Night Shift and other ventures We will be back!!
