Worst way to break up?
I'd put this in a poll but nobody would read it, so - Discuss!
A) E-mail
B) Chat program
C) Answering Machine
I think email is the worst. It's totally impersonal and it gives the person no chance to respond to what you are saying. Gutless!
i was broken up with on aim, that was pretty harsh. :\
I dont think you can beat what Shannon just said. Breaking up through AOL? Talk about demoralizing...

...next is the plain phone (if the relationship ever actually meant anything that is)

classic: "So I had a girlfriend for all of 9 months. She dropped by one afternoon when I was sick with a pan of brownies and a video tape with the simpsons on it (my favorite show). so I start eating the brownies and turn on the tape. midway through it, it cuts to her sucking off some dude. he nuts in her mouth, she looks at the camera, and says "you're dumped. enjoy the brownies" - and spits the mouthful of cum into a bowl of brownie mix. fucked up huh? I want to die."
u think thats bad! wait till i tell the story of what swamper did to me...he suck off two dicks and spewed it back up in my shampoo bottle

the saddest thing about it is i was with that kid for about 10 months, which is why i thought it did mean something. i assume it was just him being a coward. piece of shit
I read that in some countries it is legal (and has been done) to divorce your spouse via text message on a cell phone.
I would call that a shitty way to get bad news.

My friends girlfriend broke up with him on his birthday at the restaurant. He went on a 40 day fast and lost 35 lbs.
I would say email is the worst cuz its not even interactive, the = to that is answering machine. Basically anything less than a face to face is pussy. and women do it its dick.
this just came to me when i was chatting with diginut about finding relationships online
i think one bad way of braking up would be posting it as a thread in a forum that your breaking up with a bf/gf / actualy doing the breakup on a thread
Hmmm my friend broke up with his GF over IRC...but then again in his defence she was used to hitting him hard for no reason whatsoever and as he is strongly against hitting girls he though the safest way for him to brake the news to her was if he was far away
I really dont know why he started with her in the first palce
I think that e-mail is the meanest, but the nastiest would be somewhere in public where you would humiliate the otherone to the end
It wasn't one of the choices, but I think the worst way is to ignore or be ignored. No indication whatsoever, just ignored.

I definatly think that anything but in person is bad. It's especially bad when they let you think everything is okay and but then when your talking to them on night on aim...they just lay it on ya. Then a week later you go to a website that they frequent and only go cause they suggest it...when you are on the website you find out that they were telling everyone else that they didn't really have anything with you to begin with, and they are planning a date with this other chic.....I guess cause thats about the worst I've experience...I think its bad....especially because its with a whole audience...and everyone is making comments on the break up...it should be personal.
The brownies and simpson video....that just sucks ass...that is the worst of all time....and when you are sick on top of it all!!
