Dj Holgie Deeper in Sound

Hey all the TA�s,

after a few nice years here at TA now I decided to publish my first mix.. (I mix 2 years now but nothing serious)

It�s a mixture of Prog/ Chill out and the best (imo) uplifting trance..

This mix really takes you on a journey so go and please download it.. It�s on fast web space.. After you listened to it I would love to see some feedback.. Notice: Few trainwecks on this mix But see for yourself..

getting now...the last track is beautiful...i had this amazing remix of it...forget what it was though

I just got it but there seems to be a funny sound in the background in my copy,(which makes it hard for me to listen) does anyone have the same problem?

yea i'm gettin the same weird background pops and crackles too. Try reenconding

yes it is almost in the whole set , it sounds as if it is recorded underwater

I fixed the problem now so you all can download now :-)...
And I�ll never use FlashFXP again

Using LameMP3 to encode in mp3 works well. The track listing is really quite nice. However, you may want to practice on your beatmatching a bit more so the mixes will sound cleaner than they already are.

Yeep I need this on on 12" too !!! I burned the mp3 of it to an Audio CD but hey no worrys Im a vinyl addict,too I will buy this when its comes out..

I hope you liked it yeah I know I still need to work on beatmatching and I�m currently working on a new fresh mix with better beatmatching and some fresh tunes

i downloaded the mix you've got, some mixes were good, some needed a little work, BUT, in my experience, track selection is 50% of a set.. 20% is working with the crowd, and 30% is technical mixing ability. This set i really enjoyed, and infact there's a track in there i've been trying to ID for quite some time now :)

nice work, and never be hesitant to practice mixes for as long as possible, even if it sounds crappy, try to keep it beat matched as long as you can. Even see how long you can drag out a mix, for example... bring in the track to mix, and have low/mid/high turned all the way down (i never use a crossfader) then start with the highs, turn them slowly up on beat, then work the mids, then start to fade out the high/mids of the other track. then as you bring in the bass, start to slowly cut the bass of the other track. bass is the real catcher, it's the trickiest to bring in and be sneaky about it, although if you get 2 tracks that match well, and it's done just right, you'll get a big grin knowing what you just did.. mixed 2 records and no one in the crowd realized it..

Hey EPoC thanks for the massive Feedback man

I know what youre talking about and yes beatmatching is not my strongest point
I�ve tried your recommendations and I was like WTF?? Is this me mixing??? Because it sounds so good

So I made another mix with a massive tracklist and with a mixing that even suprised myself hehe.. I�ll upload it soon but I only have 9 GB traffic a month and I already have over 100 GB this month

Every tune on this mix is Class, point me in the right direction to find any more mixes you've done.
