let's add Xerox, Union Jack, Terra Ferma (AWESOME) and a lot of others with weird names..

the best compilation that i've heard is the "Nataraja" Vol 2 .. its an import from France.. good luck finding it.. but it has the sickest psy... (hallucinogen but like 100times better)
TRiP!

PS : if you want GREAT and serious psytrance, avoid GMS, 1200 mics, Skazi, stuff like that, believe me

i love the creativity level of psy artists, especially their names and track names
some russian psy - sya kin dza dza, parasense and fungus funk

i think russia has some of the best producers for psy out there
as for some other names
The Delta, Joujouka, Son Kite, Koxbox, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Psysex, Aphid Moon, Protoculture, Shift, Cydonia, X-Dream, Total Eclipse, The Infinity Project, *takes a breath, and continues* Tripiatrik, Four Carry Nuts, Tarsis, Silicon Sound, Tetrakys, Sun Control Species, Sensient, Space Tribe, Electric Universe, Midi Miliz, SUN Project, Darshan.

Enjoy

this is ridiculous! this statement is only valid if you hate the more full on psy trance... gms, 1200 mics, skazi, and infected mushroom have alot more energy than in the songs he posted. i personally like the high energy psy trance more, so i have to recommend these artists that Laughingfennec discarded.

happy listening

I like your list, but I have to SERIOUSLY disagree with that statement

Well it's true that GMS is the "cheese" of the psytrance world. However one may enjoy still enjoy their work, so be that as it may.

Anyway, Laughingfennec knows his stuff so try his list. I'm not going to try to compile a big list but here's one that I'm playing right now... huge tune:

Blue Planet Corporation - Open Sea

Builds and builds and then absolutely flies at the end.

Posted by Clyde77 on Dec-16-2003 15:30:

yahel should go back producing the style of his old stuff

I never liked his older goa productions, eg, For The People, Waves Of Sound, they were kinda boring. What I think he should keep producing is his more proggy somewhat-psy-influenced stuff, eg, Massive Control, Sugar 1, U Inside. Those are really good.

Oh, also Yahel should be publically beaten for his atrocious remix of Spiritual Healing.

Thanks for the tracklist Laughingfennec

no i don't mean full on is bad, To do makes one of the best full on goa, but i just mean GMS is "cheese" like Starglider said, this sound is quite poor, and quite basic compared with all the psy and goa scene...good full on : To do, Deeper in zen, Psyside is quite good too, as well as some Neuromotor, and Talamasca...but if you like GMS i totally respect

BTW i forgot this huge track : Jaa - Brainstorm
