OrgaNik - Avatara

Here's something I've been working on during the christmas holidays.

It's a mellow, slower (134bpm) track again with pianos and floaty melodies.

OrgaNik - Avatara (Work In Progress Sample)
It's a VBR ogg sample about 1MB in size. Notice the difference in sound quality compared to a mp3 file the same size

Some of the levels still need some tweaking so no need to nag about them

All comments welcome (as usual )

sounds really nice.... except for the levels.. hehe

maybe could need some more intressting percussions thou..

but fix the levels and post again.. hehe

Sounding good mate, not much to say as it is only a short sample but from what I hear it sounds great.
Maybe more focus on the part at the begining, some more breakbeat would be great (U know U want to )
Look forward to hearing the full mix.

To be honest I don't really understand why you even listen if you know you're not going to like it...

it can always turn out to be pretty good..
i love scarab - vagabond for example. symphony in blue as well.

it is true, most of the time it feels a bit awkward hearing a piano in a trance track. but there are always exeptions.

Something doesn't sound right in the intro. I can't quite put my finger on it, though. Once the 4x4 comes in it sounds great. Eager to hear the full version of this, loved your last track.

I like some parts of the melody, its very nice and mellow , however there are some parts where the harmony isnt correct umm cant be to specific about it though, i could help you more if you'd send me a midi . Anyway with some note change it'll be alot better in my opinion.

I think I know what you mean, there's a section on the last part of the melody that I wasn't entirely sure about.

The begin reminds me of some Faithless song (which name I cannot recall at the moment), but great tune nevertheless.

Well what can i say, this is brilliant...the idea is fantastic...

Also try to add more elements...seems a bit repetitive, though it still sounds good

Thanks. The idea here was to create a hypnotic mood to the track with multiple short looping melodies that slowly transform and morph.

I'm gonna add some fx snippets and perk up the percs to keep it interesting tho.

its nice, reminds me of, theme music from the game "Final Fantasy 8" or something. i think you should make i more deep progressive, it would fit very well.

Yeah, I think my path will eventually lead to deeper prog. Maybe not with this particular track but possibly the next one. I've grown quite tired of ordinary trance and I feel like doing something else altogether...

Hey,mive downloaded the file, but i got nothing to play a ".ogg" file :S?? what the hell do i use?

Winamps from 2.81 onwards play them just fine.
