well its been a while since ive posted some stuff on here so i thought id add up my latest track im working on its in 192!

darkish and bangin!

this is still in progress so i know the mastering etc is "a bit" off lol

Typical bangin stuff from yourself. Love that sound you got when it breaks down at 2:58. I think it could benifit from a dark but simplistic melody - and don't give me the "I can't do melodies excuse". Liking what you have done though...

think this would do well in a club. Here at home it's just a tad dull, especially for the first minute. Something like a little quirky non-melodic (so rhythmic ) synthsound, that can get tweaked throughout the track would make it more interesting I'd think.

though, something is missing.. perhaps the kick is to "hard-trancey" or pads, or some kind of loop with notes etc?

yeah the tracks no where near finished yet, still working on a rhythm and synth to put to it yet (always seems to be the last thing!)

this is just a basic idea of where the track is going really

nice, percs sound very clear, but as everyone said a little bit of a melodic element (or a dull synth) could improve it. or if you want to keep it as an exclusively percussive track, try a bit more variation, or even some wild filtering to make it stand out

im currently in the process of updating the song at the moment

added another synthy picotto esque sub bass to give it more BOOM

working on a sub melody to counter the sub bass

and thinking about adding a little vocal snippet if i can find the right one lol

and as for the filtering im getting some tips on that as we speak

ok havinf some trouble ATM with the hosting

too many connections or something :S

just a quick update, song is almost finished added a rhythm synth to give it more groove so ive just to master that now

and still considering the little vocal snippets but havent got any i like ATM so i may just stick with no vocals

ill post up the new version for some reviews when the host has cooled down a bit lol

First off, thanks for the help mate, you 2 Luke

The track is sounding well, the new riff is holding its own but i think like and some have pointed out that it needs some kind of melody to finish it off! Mastering is really clean, sweet sound.

Keep workin on that hook and you could have a top track here and if i was you i would be sending it 2 ID+T

still working on some FX for the track, cant get what i want and having limited time to do it doesnt help
