Brad Copeland returns to Toronto with Sandra Collins at Boa on Jan 17

this is not to be missed

Posted by beatjunkie on Jan-07-2004 16:28:

Brad Copeland is on right now!!

Many top level Progressive DJ's such as Sander and Satoshi have voted Brad to be DJ to watch in 2004.

I have my own opinions on Sandra but will keep them to myself as regardless this night will be wicked!!

I'd love to go but US4 @ guv is where I'm gonna be.

Posted by MarkT on Jan-07-2004 18:27:

^^^ ditto.

I enjoyed Sandra the last time I saw her...would like to see Brad Copeland...but the US4 lineup is just too good to pass up...unfortunate timing for Boa, I think, because a lot of people that would normally go to this party (like me!) will be at US4

Posted by Special K on Jan-07-2004 18:29:

i should be going to this

i could care less about ummmmmm pretty much everyone on the Ultra Spin lineup but i'd really like to see Brad Copeland spin again. And K-Swing too...

for real... I was considering hittin Boa after Guv but that's just an insane amount of money to spend in one night so I'm holding out until Satoshi Tomiie is in town.

I was taking a look at the flyer for this event on Boa's website and came across this interesting mistake:

If you look closely at the bottom of the center column you'll see that ticket prices are $00 whereas at the bottom of the rightmost column tickets are $25.

Another note, says here that Joe Gauthreaux is on from 6:30-close so I'm guessing Sandra and Brad go on before him. Heading there after Guv would have been pointless anyway.

if you haven't seen bread Copeland, I suggest you do!

no shit? Ok...Boa is *clearly* appealing to a very diverse crowd. That makes 3 events in a row that have at least one DJ that is aimed at attracting a gay crowd too. Honey Dijon on NYE, Hex Hector last weekend, and now Joe Gauthreaux. Very interesting to see a mixture of music like that...ok, Honey Dijon is a legit house DJ, but you get my point The gay scene in Toronto is *terrible* right now, so Boa deserves some added respect for doing something like this!

I agree with Jon, Silke... I don't think it's a worthwhile debate to get into, choosing which city is better. I think they're both incredible cities, and I love 'em both, each for their own reasons! And there's a whole hell of a lot of soul in TO - guess you haven't found it yet... which is too bad... Anyway, just my 2 cents...

And as for Aria and Stereo still being your faves, check out Boa and get back to me - I think you're in for a treat
