awwww...how cute, look at all the tiesto-haters. make sure you make yourselves known
Cant hate on Tiesto myself, but with all of the talent we see coming to this city EVERY WEEKEND OF THE YEAR....how can one complain ?
he'll be maybe in Montreal in April, so cross your fingers he might make a detour to TO.

| Originally posted by torontotrance you are not missing much, what trainwrecking, bad track selection. Tijs has seen better days imo tho I do admit that his 2001 koolhaus set was one of the greatest of all time, for those who were there. |
see tiesto just can't be arsed to put effort in mixing and track selection anymore and the top dj spot did that to him imo.
Yes Oct 6th.2001
Packed Koolhaus
Tiesto walks on plays that tune then track 3, you knew it would be a great night. Iio's Rapture (riva mix) before it went mainstream then obesession then futhermost. Ends with Urban Train (original promo mix), drops silence, flesh and a bunch of other tunes. See that is the Tijs that I grew to know and love, those performances then he plays the koolhaus in 2002 with one of the most boring unimaginative performances of all time. Supposed to play for 4 hrs, plays 3 hrs of horribly mixed, horribly picked tracks (venus, raging, his mix of tears from the moon....gassshhhhhhh....horrific). One year 2months difference but you know what, he still has not changed from the uninspiring crap that he has been known for. Same songs, different order, no new white labels, just the same old crap. What pisses me off is that he can do better than he damn well knows it. So hopefully he gets his act together before he comes back this year because 2001 was a night to remember.
Shouldn't you be throwing a fit cause he's playing a "prog" song?
LOL!
who cares which deejay plays as long as they play well. I mean I've seen pvd and tiesto destroy the place but also seen sander k and digweed destroy the joint. Prog, trance, techno, breaks, who gives a fuck as long as they play well.
Very true, but I was just buggin Cyrus King cause he hates prog so much and if I rememeber correctly, Glad I Ate Her was "prog".
I think Glad I at her is trance.
I dotn mind some prog songs within a trance set... but as genre to party to.... i cant stand it... its the most boring shit on earth.
The world would be a better place without prog!!
now I'm not defending any genre here but when I saw digweed in 2002 (nov. 2002 it was)....he tore the place apart and it was not prog really....breaks, techno, tech-house but to each his own. So cyrus..lemme know when tiesto gets his act back together and i may consider seeing him next time he comes to toronto.
