Well we might as well have one of these now that the club is officially opened.

1. Steve Lawler
2. Sander K (I know, but I missed him)
3. Danny Howells
4. Sasha
5. John Digweed
6. Scumfrog
7. Danny Teneglia
8. Dave Seamen
9. James Zabiela
10. Adam Beyer ( )

Tiesto,

no....highroller is asking for deejays that can mix and beatmatch records without trainwrecking and tiesto does not qualify anymore.

Posted by Special K on Jan-12-2004 03:04:

I doubt you'll hear any trance @ BOA anytime soon...

you guys have GUV/Kool Haus for that anyways...

ANYWAYS when I went to BOA for Sander K I couldnt help but think how perfect a venue that would have been for someone like STEVE LAWLER!

Even someone like Diggers, Howells, Zabiela, Sanchez, Morales etc etc

Posted by torontotrance on Jan-12-2004 03:06:

I mean I guess you could name just about every top tribal/prog deejay for this one tho

I was gonna kick you in the junk if I didn't see a single techno DJ on there

I would really like to see a techno DJ at Boa. It would give me hope that this club is going to offer something that interests me. (Because right now I'm frustrated)

Oliver Lieb is a little techy but not full on. If I thought Boa was bringing him in to spin techno, I'd go.

I see tiesto more for the docks and the guv or koolhaus, same with oakenfold and pvd. Tho it would be nice to see an a list dj without the raver kids.

Deep Dish, Scumfrog, Steve Lawler for sure though, awesome venue for LIGHTS OUT.... Would like to hear a few techno djs on that system.

Love

obviously CATTANEO.. his CD is out this month, so this would be a good time.. I miss him

Posted by DigitalMP on Jan-12-2004 04:22:

ok, my post was a joke.

i'm really pumped for satoshi tomiie, and i'm not sure if i can make it to oscar g and saeed & palash.

i'm a lot more into house & tribal than i am trance these days, though i do love trance, the post was in reference to another of toronto trance's post in a different thread.

Posted by torontotrance on Jan-12-2004 04:24:

duh but tiesto still can't mix....regardless of whoever says anything.....lol

Posted by Tordan on Jan-12-2004 04:31:

I would like to see Max Graham spin at Boa. Although, I doubt it'll happen.

Sound system is the best in Toronto hands down. The setup, well the only thing i could complain about is the stairs that escalate towards the back of the club (some people complained of tripping on them througout the night). The lighting is very minimal, but just the right setting and the dj booth is elevated towards the side of the club (right in front of the stairs that bring you down to the lounge area). It is a very wide shaped club (if that makes sense) which gives us plenty of dancing space. A lot of seating is provided for those who want to take a break from dancing (which might come in handy at 11am). Nice thing about the system is its loud, crisp, and the sound is good no matter where youre standing (unlike the Guv). Four huge speakers occupy every corner of the main dance floor area, and the back of the club (which is mostly occupied with couches) has mini speakers that still sound great, but are low enough volume to carry out a conversation.
