How much €/$ a packet of cigarrettes in your country?ż

I don't smoke cigarrettes but I'm wondering how big is the price difference between countries.
Here a packet of Marlboro (20 cigarrettes) costs 2.6 € (I believe)

that's crazy!!! 6$ fpr a pack of smokes lol, in poland we were smugling cigaretes from ukraine. price diffrence was preatty big, i mean it was "only" $3-$4 per carton (which is like 10 packs) but when u got throgh the border with 200 or 300, it added up nicely

its different state by state here in the US. I know that a bunch of people owuld always go down to ohio from michigan to get cheaper cartons.

but since I don't smoke I have no idea on teh cost.

here in california i pay $5 in santa barbara and about approx 3.50 in Los Angeles.

it's about $5 in new jersey and $8 in new york ($10 if you get drunk and buy them at the bar) but you can still get them for like $3.50 down south...

In Belgium 1 pack of marlboro 20 cigs costs 3,85 Euro no mather where you buy 'em. Maybe in a disco you pay more, sure. Can't find them cheaper unless you buy them off the black market.

wish i had known there was even a blackmarket for them when i was there!

Mind you i complained about them being 3,85... and now i'm stuck paying 5,90... time to kick the habit

The cost also depends on the brand...cheap shit like Lucky Strikes and Pall Malls go for about $3 here, where as Camel and Marlboro go for about $5.

eh I'm a cigar smoker which is just as, sometimes more, expensive.

each state and each store is different. at a sheetz in virginia, a pack of marlboro lights is $3. but the place around the corner from me here in nyc, a pack is $7.50 or $7.95. i think that's a little expensive, even for ny, but i haven't seen them cheaper than $6 for sure.

here in melb, aus you can expect to pay around $10 for a pack of 25's and around 8-9$ for a pack of 20's.
a while ago before the government taxed the shit out of them they were around 5-6 bucks.

In the DC area Camels seem to fluctuate between $3.50 and $5.50. I don't know what the deal with that is. In the middle of Virginia they are a steady $3.
