Should this forum get expanded from "Florida" to "Southeast"?
Considering all the Georgia, Carolinas, and other southeast state events are posted in this forum, promoters and fans alike from all over the southeast use this particular forum...
I asked Swamper about it and he said to throw it out as a poll and talk to arturo since he's the only current moderator... so I'm trying to kill 2 birds with one stone.
I think it's about time this forum was officially expanded to include all of the southeast since most of the other forums are regional. I also think IF this happens, another moderator or two would be in order however I DO NOT WANT THE JOB! I'll leave that decision up to arturo but seriously, I don't want to be a moderator here.. just to get the rest of the southeast an official home here on TA forums

i'm just a brat, I like how its the "FLORIDA" forum...hehe...
but nonetheless, I have voted yes, bc its obvious that that is most appropriate considering the active TA's on this forum in other Southern states....everyone should vote Yes for this.

Rach, Harold, everyone else, we do appreciate your support!!
Like i've tried saying before, I definitely don't want the forum to split up, everyone gets along, and it is nice to have the overlap between states so we can know what's going on and travel to all these different events However, it is a bit intimidating for new Atlanta (and other misc. southern TAs) to start posting in a "Florida" forum. With a new name, ALL southern TAs would have somewhere they can call home

yea, shouldn't only southeast and florida people be able to vote? yea its biased, a NYTA and someone else random already voted and who knows who else..but theres really no other way to do it i guess lol

i told Scott that i could live with a Florida/SE forum,.. we deserve naming rights,... but i do agree about the intimidation factor which does affect those in SC,AL,LA,TN,MS from participating,....
if anything it will be: Florida/Southeast :P
Why am I being blamed?
It is evident renaming the forum will help unify all the TA members of this region. There are those who remember when this forum would not have a post for days. Now that we have active members from all over this region, in the interest of accomodating a rapidly expanding forum I and the majority of the TAs feel this is the right thing to do.
Thanks for the support everyone. You guys are the reason why TA is the only forum I frequent.
