Polish Forum

that 'Po Polsku Ktosz' thread has been in the chill out room for quite some time now.. it would be nice to see a polish regional forum. i knwo about 10 TA's from toronto area who would post regularly in there.

there are an awful lot of polish tas yes, but not many actually in Poland, so that makes you unable to discuss local things, which is the point in the forum, if it was otherwise, the polish & russian ones would've been made a long time ago i bet

what he said. the point of the local forum is to discuss local events, meet up's, and all that. having 15 people all in different countries but all speak polish arnt going to be able to discuss anything that warrents a local forum, and can carry on in normal forums.

That's where it all falls apart, the whole idea is that Polish people (i.e. - people actually living in Poland) would get their own forum. You really need at least 15 proper Polish TAs to justify calling for a new regional forum.

ahhh, very good. now this all makes more sense to me. thank you.

there's a few thousand waiting there for the EU change (may i think) so they can come work in the UK (And the majority of them imo that's a good thing filling our abbundance of professional jobs) and if they're anything like the polish communities we have in cities like Derby near me, they won't be any trouble either unlike some lots

Just means any wannabe pluktas will have to post in the uk forum tho

31. fksfan (PL)

I also know about other members from Poland not included on the list, but it looks like they didn't notice the Polish thread in COR or they rarely post, also some of them hardly post in other sections than the tracklisting.

How active...hmmm, I can't remember how long it took us to fill that list up, but it wasn't too long. And I can think of one other TA that is from Poland but isn't on that list (but I don't know if he posts on TA still)

I leave my sign and confirm that I'm active!

Posted by techno_freak on May-20-2004 00:22:

alive and kicking.

Posted by bluE_Neon on May-20-2004 00:32:

ye ye, just give us the damn polish forum!

Posted by Swamper on May-20-2004 01:04:

So, where are the 'active' polish TAs hiding?

cRoMo you aren't active' with 6 posts in the past year - including the one in this thread!

I have no problem creating a regional forum, but not when it will be a ghost town..

Posted by bluE_Neon on May-20-2004 01:16:

damn Swamps, your good! theres enough polish TA's but most of them aren't even fully active

off topic...
no to zjebalismy sprawe!

Posted by jlosada on May-20-2004 01:55:

Polish people, take it easy with the mods. And my question here is:

- What is the OBJECTIVE definition of ACTIVE? (if there is such definition)

Not just yet, but they lurke a lot. We only have one thread so everything gets mixed up and most of the time we can't stick to one topic. It's a mess
Keep also in mind that some of them don't know much, or even any english. How are they supposed to be fully active?

Make it a no post count forum if u want. We don't care. We only want a place where we can discuss stuff that happens in poland and share experiences from parties. That's all.

I don't think it will become a ghost town. A lot of polish TA's join forums on daily basis and a scene in Poland is growing unbelievably fast.

Exactly...I mean, yea, not all of them are as active as many other TA's, Polands scene is growing. This would be a good place for people to share reviews on DJ's that visit Poland more and more often. As well as give people the oppurtunity to find out what clubs are good in the main Polish cities.

And as far as I know, there aren't any Polish forums like this so it would be a great oppurtunity.

Posted by StereoPrincess on May-20-2004 03:42:

ale wy pchacie.

bardzo dobrze.

Well, I'm quite active but don't live in Poland. Half the peeps from canada will be in Poland over the summer.

first the EU and then our own forum on TA, the high goals.

Posted by Digital Rain on May-20-2004 03:50:

What I'd like to know is who would you have in mind to moderate the Polish forum?
